Nope, this is one that fortunately missed us. 2005's Ivan was the worst. Spawned about 20 tornadoes within a few dozen miles of us. Scariest time of my life. :eek:
Ok, the time we got caught in a sudden squall with lightning striking all around, a few miles out in the ocean, in a tiny 4-man jon boat (with 6 people in it) in 5-foot seas was pretty scary too. I think that was the last time I was in a small boat. Cruise ships are the smallest I've been in since.
I surely hope no taffers are in harm's way either. I wish no one was, for that matter, but it's just such a huge freakin' storm.

I'm just outside Philadelphia, but I've been lucky so far. Lost power for an hour this afternoon, but it returned! Only a little bit of water in the basement.

Things pretty good here in DE. NJ took the brunt for us. Some flooding in the southern beach towns but nothing really out of the ordinary.
