Though the "Wolverines" levels in MW2 were best in the game, so I'm not complaining either.

The announcement so soon was because their hand was forced. (HAHA.) Kotaku has scooped a massive amount of MW3 leaked info, including MP plans, art assets, concept art and a summary of the entire SP campaign's narrative. Oh dear.

Seems the release of (http://www.youtube.com/user/CALLOFDUTY) those teasers was ahead of schedule, as (http://twitter.com/#!/fourzerotwo/status/69195909023539200) the words of Robert "Douchebag" Bowling, IW's community manager, suggest.

It'll be interesting to see the quality of the game, considering the (http://www.cynicalsmirk.com/who_remains_at_infinity_ward.html) mass exodus from IW last year, including most of the key creative staff. ((http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-11-19-infinity-ward-restructuring-complete) Acti have repopulated the studio, but it won't be the same.) Supposedly the crippled studio had the assistance of Raven and Sledgehammer on the project.

Yeah, Sledgehammer does the SP and Raven does the MP. and IW "helps" them, or vice versa, depending on where you read.

LOL, seems that Activision is trying to purposely (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/301858/shock-modern-warfare-3-poster-demolished-new-york-lies-in-ruins/) court controversy again, so that their game has free publicity. A mock-up Time Magazine cover that's given away free with Gamestop pre-orders, showing New York in ruins.

We just had Crysis 2, where iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and Grand Central Station were readily shown destroyed in trailers, yet no one batted an eyelid. The jackasses at Fox News are probably going to create a big deal out of nothing again, to purposely generate ratings, since CoD is an easy, massive target.

Grumble grumble, Modern Yawnfare, decline of gaming, idiotic use of numbers in the names of countries etc. etc. but I ultimately won't care and will enjoy in anyway. Man.

It seems they're finally embracing the fact that CoD is no longer a "war" game and just going the blockbuster route. I'm okay with that. MW2 felt like it was middle of the road, with a ludicrous popcorn flick plot, but the pretensions of being a war game. It bothered me as I didn't know how to approach levels and the tone was all over the place.

I don't do CoD multiplayer as Battlefield is infinitely better in my opinion, but the singleplayer for this looks awesome. But yeah, get a new fucking engine guys.
