This isn't a continuation of Lynx67's problem, but it IS regarding this map. I seem to have gone as far as I can. Finally found out how to enter Succubus's Kiss & Oils, but thats it. Can't find the gold medallion, nor the key to some kind of switch ( opens the chimney at the cottage ????). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The key you need to find the gold medallion is the "Psychic's key" I think. You get into her place by climbing a ladder, which is not very far from the bottom of the steps you go down from your cottage to get to town. Try slashing banners. The go look for a door in town that it will open.
The other key, "Sorrack's key" is in the small Hammer chapel that is under repair. The easiest way in is to rope arrow up to a beam sticking out above a window. When you climb up you find yourself up in the rafters. You need to look around up there, close to the ceiling for a lever. It opens a secret door, also up near the ceiling and in there you'll find the key. This one unlocks the cottage lock and also some other important things.

Thanks again Nightwalker. I thought there had to be a reason for those wooden beams, but I could never position myself on top of them. But I eventually saw the switch you were referring to and jumped to the secret room with Sorrack's key. All that did however is provide me access to that other secret room inside the chimney at the cottage. I don't know what to make of the paprus inside.
I got the Psychic's key a long time ago. But I still don't have the gold medallion. There must be some door somewhere I missed that it would open.
One thing I recently discovered. The outdoor floormat to Alarus's house slides right and left. But I dont hear anything open. Is this something important ?

I don't think the floormat is important. I probably would remember it if it was and I don't! :)
You need to go and look for a door that is close to the Library. It's down a sloped walk from the main street. You can also get there from underwater. There is a spot where you can swim up into the lower part of the Hammer Chapel. Down one underwater tunnel, there is a gate that opens with the Psychic's key, too. It leads to the same place as above.
You'll find another use for Sorrack's key eventually. It's very important.

Well, I'm getting closer. Found the gold medallion. It was on the floor and I missed it last time trying to get away from the spider.
But now I don't know what to do. I'm 15 shy of the 3500 in loot and I need to find the secret of the locked switch and recover whats behind it. But i thought i already did that, retrieving the payrus from the secret ledge inside the chimney. All doors have been opened and I'm wandering around looking for something I missed.
Is that secret ledge inside the chimney actually a door leading somewhere? I can't seem to jump into it, but it looks like a passageway down. Climbing the ladder to the top of the chimney doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm surprised that the objective with the secret switch hasn't ticked off yet. You've already been down in the area with the floating chests, so I don't know what the problem is. As for the loot, I'm afraid I don't remember where it all is. Sorry. :)

I had to use a crate to prop myself up in order to jump onto the ledge in the chimney. It leads down to water and the passageway to the floating skulls and chests. The skeleton in that area had some extra loot which now puts me over the required 3500, but I swear I got everything last time I was down there.
Now was I supposed to do something with the floating debris in the room? I really can't leisurely spend time down there as there are 2 nasties pacing around looking for something to kill.
And I'm wondering if this map automatically ends when all objectives are complete. Or do you just play until you notice there's nothing left to do.

It ends properly when everything is completed. You need to rope arrow up to the floating chests in this area and open them with Sorrack's Key. Then, you go and jump in the water in the other room and find the tunnel that leads up to the well out in your cottage yard. Flip the switch on the wall to open it, and the missions ends as you swim up. :)

Finally !!
I needed to get into one of those floating chests to end the game. Thanks Nightwalker. Everything was checked off at the end though I was 1000 shy of maximum loot. I'm assuming it was in the one chest I didn't open. But i couldn't get to it without that ghost killing me. No matter. It was fun !!

You actually found all the available loot. The maximum you can get is 1000 short of the total shown. The stuff in Garrett's cottage was accidentally given a value, but you can't pick it up. :)
