This is one of my dearest favorites, playing again.
I have never been able to solve a problem down there.
How can i open the floating chests? Any keys somewhere?
SlyFoxx on 20/4/2003 at 14:27
Thief B. I think you just have to rope up close enough and use lock picks.
The Thief of Bagdad on 20/4/2003 at 18:00
Thank you SlyFoxx but I cannot open the floating chests. When I use either of the lock picks I only hear one "click" from the locks. Is it sure that lock picking should do the job?

You need the same key that unlocks the lock on the back of Garrett's cottage to open the chests. It's hidden
in a secret room, up by the ceiling of the small Hammer chapel that is under repair. It's very near to the big church and you get in by rope arrowing up to a second floor window. Check around up by the ceiling for the lever to open the secret room.
I found no key up there.
Nightwalker on 21/4/2003 at 01:08
There's definitely a key up there. Did you find the secret room?

I am at the part where you have to
weigh down a pedestal to make a door open. Inside is the sword and some nice arrows. I can get in but can't get out.I really don't want to go back for a rock. Is there any other way to keep the door from locking me in?
Thanks :cheeky:
DreamWalker on 1/5/2003 at 20:49
it's been awhile since I've played this one but that pedestal needs to be weithed down with something. Could be a skull or two lying around but I believe that I had to bring in my own rock ... doable but not much fun .. especially if you have to retrace your steps.
