When do you plan to release Shadows of Doubt update? Broadsword of Sheol is great creepy mission. :thumb: I wonder what those elemental locks were made for.

Thanks, I'm happy you like it. :D It's too early for me to announce a release date; I'd rather not give an estimation date, because in the first place I never would have guessed I'd be compelled to keep working on my FMs so long after their release. There's been so much constructive criticism, and I feel that my campaign has a lot of faults that I should have fixed during the beta. If I'm going to do this properly (considering I don't have much free time) the re-edition could still take a few years to complete.
The room with the guards and mages is to throw you off track. There's a difficult jump you need to pass in order to advance.
Still stuck! Can anybody give me an outright spoiler? Need to finish this one of these days.

You need to find a key to open a locked door.

Finished! :laff: I love the theme to this mission soo so much! It feels like you're in a futuristic world that's very confusing and interesting at the same time. It kind of reminds me of futuristic movies and the architecture is quite awesome for such an old mission having a futuristic feel to it. This is my first time completing this actually. I played this back when I first started playing Thief Gold in 2010 but just could not do it back then (mainly because my 11 year-old self wasn't really that great and Thief and was still learning the ropes :sly:) Great mission though and a very good challenge ;)

this would make a great part 2 to let the people know what is going on ,kinda like that maze movie where in first movie you really had no idea what the deal was
part 2 can start out where you left off in cave system, then travel some complex caves to try to reach surface, with lots of long dead ends and items that are useless but make you think you need them, would be funny to force the player to have found the starburst device and fire arrow from mission 1 in order to exit mission 2= a bit cruel i know
then mission 3 could be you finally made it to the surface just to find out ???
but not to reveal to much plot until part 3 ,part 2 can have a small amount of info to keep people still going
would have been cool to see sperry and dront make a hard mission

It successfully did. I was so confused when I ended up in the dead end after all those jumps. Without the posts by other people in this thread who were as lost as I was, I would have given up on the mission. It is very easy to miss a key on the floor or a hatch in the darkness.
Finished in around 34 minutes on version 0.0.

Re-played this mission today and it is still as good as it was some years ago when I finished it for the first time. What a fantastic, surreal maze.
