twhalen:
After using the mask, the bottom half of the broken pillar opens up and you can go down into the waterway and into the main area of the sepulchre. Also, to get the chest in Rydia's grave you can simply mantle up there.
I could use some tips with this maze thing.
Read through the red journal as you go through the maze. The first letter of each paragraph represents which direction you should be heading in (N for north, S for south and so on). Of course, your compass doesn't work down there, so leave the tomb (climb up the ladder) and walk a little ways until your compass works, then turn around until you're facing toward the tomb and look at the directions on your compass. It helps to write down their configuration on a small sheet of paper. You should start with south being straight forward, north being behind you, east being left and west at the right.
Go down to the tomb now, keeping in mind that the first paragraph starts with an "S", meaning you start by going south (straight forward). Each time you change directions, flip the small sheet of paper you drew the compass on so that the direction you just travelled in is facing up (away from you), this helps alot in getting your bearings. Of course, if you have a great memory and a flawless sense of direction you can eliminate the whole paper thing altogether and just follow the letters in the journal to the finish.
I admit, figuring out this puzzle on my own made me feel like a genious.:laff:

WOW, what a devil of a mission! :wot: *shiver*
Great, superb, outstanding work, doaal!!! :thumb:
I'm playing on Garrett and have everything except Arek's sceptre. May I ask for a little hint where to search closer?
Thanks in advance...
PS: The music in Erim's tomb (hope this is the right name. I mean the tomb with the fire fragments) is wonderful. I haven't solved the puzzle yet, but whenever I need I break from all this moaning I run to this tomb and relax... :cheeky:

Dinki, look out for Syrrus.

there a spoiler in a previous post from ffox how to find him ( look for "metal plate" ); You will find the key when you got to the end of the maze Yes, this FM is truly a masterpiece. It´s a challenge, but always fair. Lots of good ideas. Thanks to doaal. :thumb:

Where do I find the Ankh? Scroll and book mentions Amon's temple but that's a quick way to drown
UliB on 5/2/2006 at 13:50
@ Kaleid: >You can find the ankh in the water underneath the shrine of chaos. You will fall down after your visit there. Later on you can get there, if you take the ladder down near the entrance to the maze
