This infernal puzzle is driving me insane, but I'm determined to solve it, so could I have another hint to help me along? How many "Erim Legacy Scrolls" are there (and in what general areas are they hidden)?

Pls help. I cannot open
Selan the Infidel crypt (opposite to Cyrus the Nefarious)
. Where's the switch ?
UliB on 6/2/2006 at 09:17
@ Aspirin: There is no switch. Use Masamune on the gravestone

To clarify (hopefully) any confusion for Dawggon and anyone else re: the ladder and the maze. Don't know about anyone else but to get to the maze I climbed down a ladder. In the 'cell' in front of me there's a hammer in the middle. That's the ladder I was referring to.

Further clarification - there is a red book beside the hammer. I wouldn't call the hammer red - it's greyish brown.

It's worth playing again on Expert - there are places you haven't seen yet!

I have another question (yes Dinky can be really annoying :eww: ). But I read the whole thread and found no hint...
What's with this huge deep hole with the dead Hammerite lying in front of it? Garrett's comment when you jump down is really funny. The Hammerite mentioned something about a spell that could make him invulnerable. Any hints?
PS: If you get this spell by solving the puzzle in Erim's shrine, then I don't need a hint... I haven't solved it yet... but I get nearer and nearer each day... ;)
