Yuo don't need to worry about Edmund in the Vigil.

I know! I killed him in "Lord Edmund Entertains".
I didn't find him entertaining though.

The main "link" betwen the two stories is that, remember in LEE!, Edy had two people dead around him, and how they had procured the relic in the safe?
Well, Garrett is at one of thier funeral's, and he's trying to find out wtf the relic is. I suspect Banshee is working in T2 on a third instalment.

When the guards left, I ran under the closing gate. Now how do I get out? I thought they might come back and I can hear them on the other side of the gate, but it looks like no one is going to open it and I don't see any switch. Help!

Hello Daisy
Use a water arrow on the guy with the sword and shield, he moves a little bit, than use a fire arrow on the Praying Hammerite(which makes a bridge in the next area).

I'm in here all by myself. As soon as I started down the hall toward the guards standing vigil over the Duke, they walked by me and the gate started to close. I ran in before it closed and now I'm stuck. Maybe I made the wrong choice but I sure can't figure out what else I could have done.

What Johnny Blade means is: walk up to the chest, open it and grab the book, there is a small pedestal with a golden plaque, and a fire arrow and a water arrow, the plaque gives you a hint. Look behind you, there are a row of statues standing around, look for the one carrying a shield and the one praying, shoot a water arrow at the statue with the sword and the shield, and a fire arrow at the statue of the praying hammerite, then a secret dorrway will open, and you're on your way! :)

Oh!! I see now. I thought he was talking about living people. I have the book and the arrows and I will check the plaque again. Thanks, to both of you. I'm on my way again.:)

So, I'm wondering how others got past those two guards marching up and down the stone incline near the end of the game. You have to get by them to enter the house at the bottom. I tried so many different ideas before I found one that worked. Maybe someone found a better solution than I did.

You can avoid them altogether, at least getting in. In the other building, there's a spot where you can walk along an outside balcony with a parapet-type rail. Climb up on it and you can jump over to the windowsill of the other building that houses the Club and get in that way. I don't think you can get back that way, but it's easier to BJ them from that side. You could also probably time it so you could sneak past them.
