Welcome to the forum, trudnicki! :)
I'm a little confused by your post. If you've solved the graveyard puzzle, then the medallion should be easy to find. I'll give you details below, just to clarify things. (Hold down your left mouse button and drag your cursor across the blue section to read the print.)
In the graveyard, you have to throw a rock through the courtesan's headstone and a ring appears. Then you need to shoot a water arrow at the Treasurer's headstone and a purse appears. Shoot a fire arrow at the Knight Champion's headstone and a sword appears. Take each of these items back to the room with the poems and the talisman holders. "Use" the ring on the courtesan's holder, the purse on the Treasurer's holder and the sword on the Knight Champion's holder. When this is done, the center of the floor starts to descend. Jump on, ride it down and you'll find the medallion down there.
after kicking butt in the order of the vine and the treasury, i find myself confused in the vigil. i got the medallion (great puzzle btw). now what?
SlyFoxx on 21/4/2003 at 15:34
Actaully you should play Lord Edmund Entertains as it's the prequal to The Vigil.
As for the medallion...it's been sooo long since I played this one I'm at a loss. I just remember having a difficult time getting out of the sealed crypt but I don't really remember what I stole from inside there.:o If that is where you are the arrows you find are part of the clue. Sorry I can't be more help. Sit tight. Somebody should be able to help out.:D

You need to ride the elevator back up and go find the entrance to the crypts where the Lord is being interred. Go in, let the guests leave and the door close, then figure out another puzzle! :)

I'm fairly new to fan missions and am stuck in The Vigil.:erg: I'm in the Ducal Chamber, got the Diary - how do I get out? I've tried it different ways i.e. killed the four people at the tomb- the portcullis stayed up. Hid and let them walk past me, portcullis came down with me outside. Snuck in when they were coming out without killing them, the portcullis is down and I'm inside. Does it have something to do with the statues i.e. the shield and sword and the hammer or am I way off track? Hope someone can help, I HAVE to finish it, my sanity depends on it!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum, catherine. :)
Yes, it has to do with the statues. It's been a while since I played the mission, but I remember there being arrows in the Ducal Chamber, right? I'm afraid I can't remember any specifics, but you have to shoot the arrows at a couple of the statues in order to proceed. Wasn't there a hint as to which arrows to use on which statues?

Hi Morrgan
No arrows in the Ducal Chamber - but I have some in my inventory so I'll try each type and see what happens!!!! Thanks very much for your quick response, I've spent a couple of hours running around the mission like a headless chicken, I know every inch of the Ducal Chamber at this stage!!!!!
Thievery awaits, will let you know how I get on.......

There should have been a water and a fire arrow in the chamber, right next to the plaque with the hint what to do with them. Here's what you need to do:
Shoot a water arrow at the Keeper statue (the one with the keyhole shield), and a fire arrow at the Hammerite statue (the one holding a hammer with both hands).
