Yes, that's it. The graveyard is very nearby. Walk out of that room and look for another doorway out of the same small building that opens into the graveyard. There's no door. You can see out into it. You probably just haven't turned the right way at the right time. :)

Thanx! I'll have a look see.

Do you have to ride the elevator down first? There simply isn't an entrance to a graveyard where Garrett is currently located. The surroundings are quite clear and I see no such entrance. How do you activate this elevator?

You have to find the graveyard to figure out how to activate the elevator. It's connected to the rhmes on the front of the three Talisman holder things around it. I just had a thought. Maybe you're in the wrong room? There's a metallic thing in the floor of a small room outside the entrance to the tomb but that's not the right place. Go into the building that has an archer patrolling upstairs and look for a room with the three Talisman-type holders in it.
To get to the graveyard from that room, leave, turn right, go to the end of that corridor, turn left and take the next right. You'll walk right into it. :)

WOW!! I just CANNOT believe I walked right past this! Gotta take off my blinders.
Thanx alot!

Anyone else notice the reference to Metallica in the graveyard? That was pretty good.
There are actually 3 "statues" so make sure you're in the right room. They look like Talisman holders and there's a plaque below each one. Read the inscriptions on the holders by the elevator. Each one is a clue, then go out into the graveyard and look for the tombstone of the courtesan. How was she killed? Look around and you'll find something that seems out of place. See if you can figure out what to do with it. That should give you the idea of what to do with the other two when you read the epitaphs on them. If you can't figure it out, let me know and I'll tell you in detail.
Thanks, but I didn't mean that:) Baybe I didn't understand the first post (the nchw68's one).
I solve the puzzle
with the 3 statues and I used that elevator
but from the first post, I understood that it is about another place. nchw68 wrote: "And the only thing I can find that MIGHT be an elevator is a green rectangle on the floor (looks like a rug) between two statues in a small stone room that clangs when I jump on it ". I also found that place and I wondered if it was an elevator

I've never been able to find anything to do in that area myself but I can't say there's nothing there because I've never found all the loot, either. Maybe someone else knows for certain?
