It might be 'no fun', but it's the only way out.....

Um... any hints on how to get out?
I've read the plaque and noted the statues with the sword and the shield and the hammer. They don't seem to help. I've looked for bricks out of place, and buttons behind pillars. I've searched around all of the sarcophaguses.
Am I on the right track at all?

You're on the right track. You found a couple of different arrows in the tomb, right? Use them on the appropriate statues and then look around carefully. :)

Due to the same bug I experienced in LEE! (nothing wrong with game, mind you - my computer is an idiot), I can't see my objectives in The Vigil. Could someone tell me what the objectives are for The Vigil, Hard difficulty? I'm gonna reinstall the game after I finish The Vigil so this bug won't trouble me no more.
*The Vigil Spoilers* I'm right near the end (I think), I have just solved the puzzle in the graveyard and I've reached the underground tomb and I've stolen the mediallons down there. Have no idea what to do now...

Are you sure it's just your computer, Burt? It's very strange that you can't see the objectives screen for these missions. On the Vigil, the middle Difficulty is labelled Expert. I'm presuming that's what you are playing on as there isn't one labelled Hard.
Objectives:
1) Find Duke Creygan's Journal
2) Return where you started.
3) Find 1250 loot
4) Don't kill humans.
If you've been through the tomb and the tunnels (you don't have to solve the graveyard puzzle on this difficulty) then it sounds like all you need to do is get back to your start point.

Nightwalker - I must've made some mistake when installing the FM's cause I can see my objectives now, but they are the objectives from Circle of Strain (which I played before LEE! and Vigil). I believe reinstalling the game will help, though.
I was short on loot in Vigil (about 150), searched the map thoroughly but found no more, got angry and uninstalled. I'm gonna go hit myself in the head now.

Actually, Burt, that's more likely a Darkloader problem. Each time you select another FM to play, Darkloader zips up all the pertinent files such as SavedGames, and tucks them away so when you select that mission again, it can reload them back in and you can pick up where you left off.
Darkloader also extracts the FM's strings that tell what objectives are going to be displayed, what book texts are available, and so on, so it's best not to start deleting things willy-nilly when they don't work. Try selecting the original missions, go into the game and quit back out, then try reloading the FM you want to play and go into the game and see if that works.
If that doesn't work, the next step is to see what files are listed in the FM you want to play, and see if Darkloader is unzipping them to the proper folders.....try the first one, then we'll go from there. It's a whole lot easier to do the first one first....

Have you even been using Darkloader?

Thanks for the advice, I guess I still haven't quite learned how to use the Darkloader
