I'm short by about the same amount as Nightwalker, but I killed myself to check my stats, and there are 3 guys I didn't pickpocket!! Bloody 'ell!!! I still haven't found the guards I didn't pickpocket... Over 50 unconscious bodies to search through over and over until I find them.. AAAHHHHH!!!! Maybe I'll just make a very amusing huge pile of bodies for ease of searching..heh (Or the other possibility..guards in a hidden room I didn't find??? Hhhm... Although I think I took care of everyone..mostly through doors of course..and haven't heard anyone else moving about)...
Nightwalker, have you checked your pickpocketing stats to see if you got everyone? That could be that problem for you, too...
And as far as the clocktower goes...anyone find anything in there other than the breath potion? I looked around for secret passages and didn't come up with anything.. The building must be primarily for its aesthetic appeal....

The pickpocket stats wouldn't help me, as I've knocked a whole lot of folks out before I took what they have, so it wouldn't count. I'm hoping Silver Sorrow will find some more. He's really good at locating hard to find stuff. :)

Speaking of picpockets, lets talk about picklocks, gawd I HATE it when I come to a door or a chest that have to be picket, sometimes it takes TOO long, then I have to switch from this pick to that pick and back again, I mean, we get the point!! The door is LOCKEd and I have to PICK IT! Why take so darn long?

Where is the
Secret by the "deadly staircase"?
Ooh yah, I LIKE this one.... :thumb:

bohemian -
When you're walking directly toward the bottom of the staircase in the hallway, stop and examine the wall. Tucked in between the archway edge and the wall, there is a lever.
Oh, gee, I thought I'd been almost everywhere (on expert) but according to this thread I still have some major exploring to do. That ain't my immediate problem though:
How do I carry Drannor's body across the trap?
I know this will be one of those slap your head easy solutions, but it's driving me nuts:p
Help!
Nightwalker on 30/3/2002 at 02:18
There are two pressure plates, side by side on each side of the trap, that spring it. Just walk forward slowly. You should be able to see where they are, but if you can't, walking forward really slowly should allow you to depress them without walking into the trap. Once you know where they are, it's easy to jump over them. If there's a way to shut the trap off, I never found it.
Wait, are you telling me that pickpocketing someone after they're unconscious doesn't count as a pickpocket in the stats? I seriously never new that.. Then I probably have everything the guards were carrying and wasted a lot of time searching unconscious bodies...d'oh

I did find about 50 more gold on a guard -- he's patrolling behind a locked gate. I believe this has been mentioned before, but I had forgotten about it. It's accessible either from mantling up over the arch above the gate, or getting in through a waterway close by...the ladder up is broken, so you'll need a rope arrow. [description of what place, exactly, I'm talking about: the place is a small arched bridge in front of a gate; there's a lever on the inside.] The only thing obtainable is 50 gold, so I'm up to 3698 total loot. So close, and yet so far.
102 to go, and I can finally move on with my life...unfortunately, I messed up my wrist slightly today, so I'm taking a break this evening. Remember kids: when sitting down, try not to hurt yourself. This is Captain DangerToMyselfAndOthers, signing off. :erg:

Radioman, there must be a button for that trap somewhere as one of the hammerite guards turned the trap off before running after me. He is now suffering from a severe case of headache but I can now walk over easily.
:cheeky:
