Why don't you just send me an e-mail, Spamlet and I'll send you the whole loot list. That would be the easiest way to do it, rather than trying to guess what you've found and what you haven't.

OK NW sent me the loot list,
Before she did so I was only 102 shy of the expert requirement (which is also where legendary loot hunter Silver Sorrow gave up in total frustration) after she sent me the list I was in fact able to find 32 bucks worth I had rightly overlooked but only because it involved being in such a position that you are no more than 1 foot away from the item because you were both crouched AND leaning forward. This was in places I had already scoured clean, mind you, so basically you have to have a magnifying glass to find the last little bits. In short, I've been over both the list and the entire mission a dozen times and even WITH the loot list in my possession I'm still 70 bucks short of the requirement 95 short of total. There is no shame in saying you didn't complete this mission on expert. NW is the only one to have done so, I believe, and she confessed to me that even after she had the list the author had to still give her detailed step by step instructions to find every little piece.
SPOILER ALERT
Here's the few more places not mentioned yet where I found loot that you've probably all searched through already but were certain to have overlooked:
1) In the kitchen sink of the first house, believe it or not there is a gold plate in the bottom of the sink: I had already frobbed that water numerous times from numerous angles but you have to be both standing on the sink itself crouched and leaning forward and even then you'll probably frob the entire water area before you fish it out
2) While you're on the sink top you'll need to turn around while still crouched or you definitely won't find the ring on the kitchen windowsill (this one made alot of sense because the maid does dishes and wouldn't want to lose her ring in the drain)
3) In those little backrooms of the inn's bar there are THREE cups even though only two are immediately visible. You'll have to get right up to the bench to find one sitting on the seat itself.
4) There's another tiny ring on the bedside table of the porno priest's room next to where his ho was sleeping.

well thanks for that, there is alot to think about!
The trouble with most guards is their a bit crappy, I wanted the level to have guards that were alert (they had just hunted down one thief, and were on the lookout for more) the hammer by the clocktower was extra alert because he had a thief run rigth into him.
The problem I had was being my own playtester, it is difficult to not anticipate guards that you know are there!
As I posted earlier, I tried to make a level that equipment is important, and needed, what I hate in most levels is buying a load of goodies and not needing to use them. I invariably end up with nearly two dozen water arrows, and a wagon load of broadheads. (A case in point was Calendra's Legacy which I have just completed, in the second mission I ended up with 25 water arrows! I found them an exeptional set of missions by the way).
That all being said, thanks for the input it helps me mould my next level!

First off, great first mission man, this goes up as one of my favorites, right under Art of Thievery and Errand Boy for pure stealing levels. Nothing can beat AoT in my mind, but anyway..
I am extremely proud of myself. I found EVERY bit of loot in the level WITHOUT any of the hints in this thread.....except for the one coin under the wardrobe. It only took 2:51, and I did barely any extra searching. I had 3824 and was sitting there, I finally just looked in this thread. I only missed one pickpocket, NO damage done to myself, and no healing of course! I used two flashbangs and four water arrows. And a couple of ropes. I had none of the problems anyone else brought up here, blackjacks were fine, except for one hypersensitive sleeping AI. It's the best I've done on a mission yet. Although I almost completely ghosted AoT on expert, I could've done it, but I got tired of all the backtracking through guards so I gave up in order to finish.

That's amazing! You should post a screenshot of your stats because people probably won't even believe someone could do that well on this one otherwise.

I don't have a website, so would someone else like to let me know a way to post a shot? I also don't know where the shots are stored. But I still have the savegames if someone would help me out.

I've spent for over 6 hours, but still I found 3400 loots.
Please teach me how to get into the memorial garden.
Spamlet on 14/4/2002 at 03:19
Sorry you can't get into those Gardens in this FM the author just forgot to take it off the map because he wasn't able to put things in he had planned due to space.

Nice level, enjoyed it quite a bit once I found the lockpicks (with the help of this thread).
I figured out where the locksmith was easy enough (in fact, that's what I assumed it was when I looked at the map and noticed my lack of picks) but when I climbed up to the X at the meeting area via a stack of crates the only thing I found was a money pouch as I couldn't actually climb onto the ledge.
Regarding the windows, only once did I fail to climb in on my first try and that's because I was too high. IIRC I jumped to them, ducked and then went inside quite easily.
I really liked entering buildings via the windows, especially when climbing up a drain pipe, walking across another pipe, leaping to a roof and then to the window was involved.
