It should definitely work with Thief Gold. I beta tested it and I've played it since it's release and I've always used Thief Gold. Have you tried deleting the mission and downloading a new copy? Sometimes, things go wrong and you end up with a bad file that just won't work. It's worth a try, anyways. :)

I recently installed Lorgan's web successfully with Thief Gold. But I did have some problems before with Death of Garrett: I selected it through Darkloader and the screen blanked a bit like you're describing.
I think I had a corrupt file somewhere. The way I solved it was to completely reinstall Thief Gold (full installation) and reinstall Darkloader. If you choose to do this, make sure you copy your saves somewhere first.

Have you checked all your Darkloader settings?
Here's how I proceed : -I put the FM in the good file then I start Darkloader
-I click on install only
-I close darkloader ( in case of suspected slowing downs, my pc ain't a brand new one)
-I click on my favorite game shortcut to run and to begin the party
;)
That's all, Folks !!

Thanks to everyone for the help! Gunwin's suggestion was the one that did the trick! :D

I have finished the mission on Normal level (GREAT mission BTW!!). I did not get any objectives involving Lorgan himself, so when I had finished everything else AFAIK, I went back and found him, still at the brothel, and whacked him with the sword. But I understand there is supposed to be something about throwing him to the spiders??

I' ve done Lorgan's Web on Xpert level but I suppose it's the same in normal :
So I blackjacked him then I went to the sewers. In the sewers, I opened a "sewer door" (Sorry, i forgot the english word :erm: ) and threw him to say hello to the spiders :ebil:
Seek good in the sewers!

I know where the spiders are in the sewers, but how did you know that you were supposed to take him there?

Been a while since I played this but I think at some point a new objective gets added that says to drop him in the sewers. Sorry, I don't remember what triggers the new objective. It is also possible that this only happens on certain difficulty levels.

Because of problems resurrecting the AI (which is bloody difficult!), I decided that unless you FIRST find the spiders in the sewers (before finding Cudget and his note), you don't have to kill Lorgan by dropping him in with the spiders.
However, if you stumble across the spiders early enough in the game, when you find out about Lorgan, you get the objective to let him meet the spiders. He SHOULD wake up, and start yelling, then the spiders kill him!
I tried to push too much stuff through the T1 engine. My next mission, which is still a technical challege for the T2 engine, should be more reliable.

Thanks, Shadowspawn.
I can appreciate that with such a complex plot, the various actions can be completed in a lot of different orders. When I found Cudget I wasn't actually even looking for him -- I was looking for the gas arrows. And of course I was able to complete the mission by just whacking old Lorgan with the sword. But I am *seriously* considering replaying the mission just to enjoy the spider ending. :ebil:
Did I remember to say "GREAT mission"?
