:thumb: Just wanted to say I really enjoyed the mission. Rarely, if ever do you have less than 5 secs to move at the start of an FM. It really caught me off guard the first time, but hey it was fun! The story is very engrossing, like an earlier post said you really wanted to rescue cudget and kill that bastard Lorgan! The layout of the city is very similiar to Assassins, but hey that was a great original mission. New Market with all the accesible shops was nice as well. My only grump would be
Why all the guards at the main vault if you are going to make gas arrows available?
I mean a littel more sneaking could have been forced at that point, I thought. I really liked being able to turn out the lights and then wait for someone to come turn them on again. I had quite a pile of umm "resting" servants and guards in just a few minutes. All in All an excellent mission, A 10 with maybe a silver hammer?

*grin* Actually, I did manage to get up the latrines - took me about 30-40 tries, and plenty of luck to get Garrett aligned just right. And yup, Shadowspawn you bastage, that scared the drek out of me ;)

This is on of the few fan missions that I have gone back through for a second time. There At least a 9.5 for sure. I never figured out the lock where the Chapel Priest is sleeping. I assume that is where the gas arrows are as I never found them. The lock clicks but no door opens that I can find. Is this a bug or did I miss the a location?

You almost had it. Look for something else you can do in the room as well as the lock. :)

The High priest does have a nice selection of reading material.:cheeky:

Man...
Actually, i found some GREAT uses for that thief. He helps kill off the big-guard guy (Lorgan's bodyguard), as as long as you keep him in your sights, he won't die off, and keep fighting for you!
But i need to note a few things...
First, i had already killed lorgan and his bodygaurd in the riverside resturaunt (maybe i only KOed them...) when i started the mission, so how are they back in the end?!
Also, i can TELL there's a secret passage in the Priest's reading room... HOW DO I OPEN IT?!?
I like how the burricks come out and make trouble for the gaurds... but the poor things are hopelessly outclassed! Give 'em some more HP! (of course, i DID run into the mansion, have the gaurds chase me and i hid while the burricks burped at them... oh, the terror of a 10-on-2 fight!
Also, the polys are kinda high. There was hardly any time when my movement's weren't choppy =( Oh well, i have a crappy comp, but still, my enjoyment of this FM was severly dampened because of this...
But good technical execution, making Cudget sit up! Isn't that what the Thief crew COULDN'T do with Cutty in the cragscleft mission? >=)
All in all, a good mission... i'll have to replay it sometime =

Secret room:
There's a lock behind the door and also a book on the shelves that you need to frob.
bedwine on 12/3/2002 at 21:54
I don't know why I didn't look in those shelves closer the first time through? Why are the spoilers blued out on the boards?
This Mission rocks. I liked the woman whispering ....garret....garret. I tried to use a rope arrow to her balcony but never got the right location to jump in.
This mission has some nice surprises for sure. Worth a third play someday. I will leave this one my hard drive.
Did someone mention the two servants looking at paintings wondering if someone was watching them while your peeking from the secret pasage? Nice touch.

Just completed Lorgan's Web Mission
IMO, one of the best FMs I've played
Cudget really made it a team effort...:)
