Norman Druart - I was afraid that the guy would never make it down the block so I cleared the way for him! Kinda backwards aye? Then I followed him to see where he would go. He went around the corner to the "House O' Pleasure" and took out the "body gaurd" for me. (I see were his priorities lie, pun intended.)

Spoiler 1:
It has to do with Cudget's blackjack ability and how he isn't knocking people unconcious in the same way as Garrett.
Spoiler 2:
Shadowspawn made Cudget's blackjacking attack sort of an aura surrounding him that renders any AI's that enter it unconcious. I'm sure Shadowspawn meant for only concious AI's to be affected but I found that even dead AI's will be changed into unconcious ones if Cudget passes near them. It's totally out of plot and character, but if I carefully place the bodies, no one need die in the mission, not your thief friend, the dead prostitute, or even any of the guards. Only Lorgan and good riddance to him!:ebil: (As an added touch, I carried the unconcious thief out with me as I followed Cudget to end the game)
Oh Norman, you old softy.
Not really a spoiler but...
So you carried the GUY out and not the prostitute? Humm, interesting choice.
I don't think I left anybody for Cudget to help with. I could use help with the loot, however!

The thief now owes Garrett another favor and the prostitute could find her own way home. With Lorgan out of the way, she'd be safe (relatively speaking) anyway. And Garrett prefers renting to owning, if you catch my drift.;)

Well I would have carried the guy home as well but not for the same reasons as Garrett, and then he could repay the favor. :ebil:

Norman Druart! Give this man a gold blackjack!
That was totally unexpected! Because of the need to resurrect Lorgan and Cudget, I build a parellel "KnockOut" system. I never expected the ability of the stim to make "Dead" AI back into Unconscious ones.
Just goes to show you, even us game developers miss things in our own missions.
And I'm glad to see people are still playing it! :joke: I just wish it wasn't so buggy. :nono:
Hopefully, the next one (Lord Fishkill's Curse) won't have the bugs. But I am pushing the envelope once again. Hopefully I'll get this one out by Christmas.

Gold blackjack, eh. Heavy but very effective. :D
Lorgan's Web is on my top 5 FM's list. I think it has the best written plot of all FM's and I love the way it unfolds as the mission progresses. One aspect I appreciated greatly was the diversity of AI's; instead of the typical 3 personality types (those that want to kill Garrett, those that run away from him, and those that just ignore him), Garrett had a few allies that actually helped him. That's an aspect of the game that Thief 1 had but was sorely missing from Thief 2 where it felt like the whole world was out to get Garrett.
Thanks for the mission; can't wait for the next one! :thumb:

It's for Thief 1.

Lorgan objective won't complete! I found the spiders, got the objective not to kill them, got the objective to toss Lorgan down there....but when I do, he just lies there and nothing happens, and the objectives don't tick off. I've tried everything I could think of, throwing him down from on the ladder and from the edge of the well, throwing him onto the grating and having him drop after I flip the switch, carrying him down the ladder and setting him down with the spiders....I'm out of ideas.
Any ideas on how to get it to work? I'm stumped. :erg:
