Yeah, I thought the lock was for a safe or something. But you can't pick it??? Weird, I'm positive I picked it :confused:

I'd have to check but it's possible it can be picked, as well. I've always known where the key was, so I've never tried! :)

Almost every lock in the mission can be picked, keys are just faster. The only one I made surer COULDN'T be picked was one of the locks for the vault door. The other one was pickable.
The dropping body problem occurred if you restored from a save while you were carrying Cudget. The Thief engine goes through on startup and makes all the non-dead AI unfrobbable. (Normal AI are dead even when they are unconscious). Since Cudget could be revived, he wasn't totally dead. There were some possible fixes for it, but the mission was so unstable I didn't want to try building it again. The work around is just to drop Cudget somewhere before you save the game.
The sequel should be released in a week or two (for Thief 2). Look for "Lord Fishkill's Curse" coming soon. I'm just finishing up bug fixing from a very successful 2nd beta release, and adding the camvator sequences.

Hi everybody. I have a problem: I played Lorgan's Web at least 4 times and I never menaged to get inside the Guardhous UNSEEN. Is there really onle the main entrance?? Or am I a complete jerk and can't find more stylish entrance? Please, help, my good taffers.

[SPOILER] There's an open window in the church. From the outside, you can get into it, then into the guardhouse from that way. I believe you can also come in from the main house, through the secret entrance, too, though I've never tried it from that direction. I usually use that as the way in, not out, of the house. I think maybe we're not talking about the same place? Are you talking about the jail/guardhouse or the one that guards the gate lever? If it's the later, then I've never found another way in except that one door, either. :) I just realized that you could regard either one of those as a guardhouse.

Then the first post was right. The hallway in the church connects to the jail, so the window is the easiest way in. :)
