I tried carrying him to the gate but still the lever just buzzes. So, the only way to move the lever to the gate is with an arrow from like the ledge across the street? Seems kind of strange.
With my save system, will have to go back quite a ways to before Cudget was bopped. Not sure if I want to do this until ready to replay game.
What a great fm. All those passageways and roof hopping!!!! :thumb:

For me Cudget woke up, talked to me, and blacked-out for the rest of the mission! I had to do everything myself, opening the gate included!!!!!

Unfortunately there are a lot of bugs that can crop up in this mission. If everything works the way it should,
Cudget meets you at the gate, then goes up and opens it for you so you can go through.

I found Cudget in his cell, I carried him back to the bed, threw him on the bed.
He woke up, talked for awhile, then blacked-out again.
Then I carried his body to the gate, opened the gate, and went out!

Greetings-
I am sure some of you are going to think that I am way behind schedule, :eww: , but I think Lorgan's Web is one of the BEST FMs I have ever played. I know it was released in 2001, but I am just now getting to it. I downloaded T3, but my 1 year old Compaq and its video card aren't compatible. :nono: So, to salve my Thief habit, I started going back and playing FMs again.
I enjoyed the back alleys, the rooftop jogs and using the burricks to distract the guards (was I supposed to do that?) :tsktsk: And no undead. That was a plus. Nice freakin' job, Shadowspawn!

Yes, I keep hearing this mission is fantastic, but maybe I'm just not good enough. This mission is tough!! I will have to keep trying, but I can't get very far in it, and the AIs are super-sensitive! :(

I am playing this FM on Expert. I returned Cudget to our place, got the note about throwing Lorgan to the spiders. The rest of the objectives have yet to be completed. And this is where I am having problems.
There is a lady on a balcony and below her is a guard standing watch in front of a door to an establishment of some sorts (I've actually been in there, one other time). I get ready to gas the guard, and I notice that my health meter is slowly diminishing. So I drink some potions to refill it. Get in position again, and then Garrett makes a sound like he got hit in the stomach, and the screen goes black. Mission Failed.
I load the save again, go back to the place I was at, and before I even get my bow ready, Garrett makes a muffled scream sound and falls flat. (I've heard this to be SHAS). Ok, fine. So I load it up again, this time moving a bit farther away, and when I go to select my gas arrow, it doesn't show up in my right hand. It is there on the screen, but not in my hand.
I reload the save again, this time getting the arrow to show up. I line up the guard, and when I fire the gas arrow, nothing is shown leaving the bow, but 1 second later the guard falls like he has been hit, even though the arrow disappered when I fired it from the bow.
So I go back to load again, and get a new problem. When I load the save, the screen automatically goes to the objectives screen and sits there. I have another save there, so I load it and no problems. After loading it it goes to the loading part and a few seconds later is playable. Try to do that with this save I've been using, and I am still stuck at the objectives screen. (No loading screen.)
Can someone help?
PS: My T1 game is patched (So is T2)
Thanks :)

It could be your save is bad. Have you tried loading an earlier one to see if it works? I'm currently betatesting an FM and my moss arrows stopped working for no known reason. A file must have corrupted because downloading a new copy fixed the problem. Maybe you could try that as well, though you probably would have to start again. Using the same saves wouldn't be a good idea.

Yeah I did load another save. (The last paragraph of my initial message). And that worked fine, w/no problems.
I'll probably start this again, as there didn't seem to be anything wrong with the mission other than what I mentioned.
This is one of my favorites, that's for sure. :)
Thanks
