There's something I really liked about this mission when I played it back in the day. It felt really surreal somehow, and different than regular thief FMs. It almost feels like Garrett left Thief, and entered into another game. It might be the music. Few FMs have traditional music playing through them, and I have to say, Vangelis was a good choice.

Yes a specific music can be the key to make you feel the place around you in a certain way. that´s what makes Thief games a unique world, and very rich due to Eric Brosious Amazing musics.
I have added another music to this mission, after the Vangelis music another music is played, it fits the place but it changes the whole feeling of the place you are exploring, and i sometimes wonder if it was a good idea to mix this music "The black Dress" by Svarte Greiner:

Anyway Vangelis has many good Music for new mission, specially his movies soundtracks.
