Thank you. :) I was having a hard time killing the brides and Dracula's undead knights from the Order of the Dragon. I thought that the garlic I found in the hermit's cottage was the only secret weapon. I managed to kill Vlad's henchmen by only using barrages of holy water arrows and my sword - twice ! :D But now I noticed the unfinished objective with the weapons and did some additional snooping around. I read the hermit's scroll again and tried to move, slash or shoot the Last Supper painting a few times... Then I found the well-hidden lever... :rolleyes: :laff: :thumb: I'm going to replay the part with the final battle again and I'm already looking forward to mission 3. A great FM campaign... :)

When I start the prologue, I get Running Interference, but Basso has turned in a guy from the campaign and the torch conversation has some voice elements from the Dracula campaign. How to fix this?

Occasionally you will find that you'll start a new mission and run into problems. For instance, you might load one mission and when you start to play you'll see something that indicates you're going to be playing a mission other than the one you selected or you might experience crashes.
Sometimes DarkLoader or GarrettLoader fails to cleanup the Thief folder while uninstalling a FM, so you might have to do it manually:
Install the original game missions and delete any remains of the following folders in your main Thief folder:
Pal
Bitmap
Books
Fam
Intrface
Obj
Mesh
but don't delete the movies, crfs or the res folder!
Next, reinstall the mission you want to play and it should load properly.

Thanks for the help, but I reinstalled Thief 2, the patch and the scripts and everything works fine now. :D

I didn't see it mentioned in this thread before, but it seems I've run into a bug at the end of mission 1. I've got everything done and gone back to where I started, but the "return to where you started" objective doesn't tick off. Everything else is ticked off, though, so I'm not missing anything. Is there a way to fix it, or should I just ctrl-shift-end? :(

EDIT: Oh jeez, I just had to set her down. Absurdly simple---I should have known what to do. XD

I clicked all over that area with the statue like a madwoman and couldn't find a goddamn switch to get me to the hermit's hut! Where is iiiiiit??

IIRC, the switch looks like a rather long but narrow stick and it´s on the back side of the statue.

Thank you! I was able to finish this mission, but now I'm stuck in mission 3:

I've gone back in time to Poenari but now I can't get across the broken bridge. Normally I'd just use a rope arrow. . but I don't have one, nor did I find any in the graveyard.

I have a horrible feeling that that's why I need and I'll have to go back and look for one. :(

EDIT: Figured it out! I thought it might have had something to do with falling down into the river, but I didn't see that long rope hanging down that I could climb up to the top beams! :D

I'm afraid I need help again. :(

I need to fulfill my loot requirement in mission 4 and in Darkthrone, above the door that leads to Akasha's shrine I can see a frieze of a creature with two jewels for its eyes, but it's so far up I can't reach it and there's no way up that I can see. There are some wooden beams way WAY farther up above, but they seem to be out of range of my rope arrows. How do I get the jewels?
