Hi!
I am playing this beauty made by Sensut and I am facing serious problems at the kitchen-main hall- bedroom area.
First low frame-rate, then I'm loosing my gear(the weapons go invisible), then I get stuck on walls and on other objects; any saves I make at these areas don't work giving me the Windows send error message (something about the HUNGAPP)or when I reload at these areas only AI's and a few objects are on screen and not the whole thing.
I play the Reloaded version on laptop with WinXP Prof. SP3 in Darkloader 4.3
and never before did I experienced such a problem ;not even with say, Mission X or the Bathory series.
Tried installing the OMs in Darkloader and then played again Dracula but same things happen every time.
Is there something I can do to fix it? Should I try to play the 3d part from the first seperate release? and will this be possible without slowdowns and crashes?
Please don't tell me I won't be able to finish it!!!:( :(

Sorry to hear you're having such problems with this masterpiece, nightchild. A few small, isolated issues have been reported, but not like what you've described.
It seems most likely you have a corrupted copy; one way of checking this is the .zip's Size On Disc (right-click .zip > Properties). My copy of dracula_reloaded_brfv1.0 works fine & the Size On Disc is 265,318,400 bytes. D/l'ing again is probably your best option (I got mine from thiefmissions.com).
I guess one alternative is to d/l & play the original pt 3, then re-install Reloaded & ctrl-alt-del-end through to pt 4: The Darkthrone - a shame since IMO pt 3 was particularly upgraded / improved in the Reloaded version.
Hopefully Sensut will turn up to give you more comprehensive advice.
Best of luck :)

As SF mentioned, this may be a corrupt zip archive problem. Also be sure that your Thief is clean before you install the pack in D-GLoader. (

Here is the complete, 100% working mission collection, you can download from here. Sorry to hear this problem, I did not hear about things like this till now :erg: .

Sticky Fingers and Sensut thank you both for your replies.
My size of the zip is 267,579,192 ( disc size 267,579,392) and it comes from the KOMAG's discs collection.
I think I will redownload the Reload from here, skip the first missions, try it again and if this continues D/L the single one.
The good thing is that up to the point I'm stuck it was an easygoing miss.without encounter with eny bad-BAD gays so it will be easy for me to run through again.
And Sensut... amazing job these FMs of yours.
I do not know any other Editors for Mods but using Dromed and making such missions looks like acting magic.
Ps. In my opinion the mere use of Dromed can build one persons' character.
(you know...: stronger, more patiend, inventing, overcoming obstacles, split personalities talking to each other constantly, learning to be alone because your friends do not see you any more, learning to say good lies to avoid social
life so you can be left alone and keep on with your addiction and so on :)
o.k, uninstalled and installed again thief with all: patch/ scripts/ ddfix and everything and the game runs like charm.
No frame problem no anything. It was Keeper Investigations that interfered with OM and when I reinstalled Thief in Darkloader these missions kept poping up.But I killed them :ebil:

I have been through the posts but I still can't work out where it is. It seems to be in the "cache" but I don't even know where that is. Can someone makes things very obvious for me?
Thanks

There is a underground cache below the archway to the large room.

Thanks for this! I don't think I ever would have spotted that door...

I need a bit of help finding my way past a point it doesn't seem anybody else was stuck at. In part two, in the attic where theres a spider and I'm supposed to climb down the shaft, there's a chest I can't open. The keys, crowbar, lock picks or sword doesn't open it.
Also, getting back up the shaft... I found somebody doing a tarzan thing to get back up, but doesn't make any sense to me, as the shaft is made of metal, as is the ceiling.. what am I missing?

IIRC, one of the undead guys in the mill has the key for the chest. Or maybe the key is on a corpse hanging on the wall in that area...
Isn´t there a ladder inside the shaft? Or maybe you can open a door from inside the shaft when you have climbed down?
Sorry for my confusion - it was a while since I played this.
