Maybe it's the movie? You can delete the movies from the zipfile and see if that helps. Remember backup first.
I found that installing the Indeo4 didn't help, so I installed a codec pack called klmcodec544 which did the trick for me. The mission crashed for me at the start of mission2 as well before I installed this. It's supposed to be a Vista glitsh...
Disclaimer! I don't know if this will solve the issue, or is even relevant for you!

Come to think of it, it's quite likely to be a lack of the right codec to play the in-game movie at the start of mission 2.
Another one to consider is the (
http://www.free-codecs.com/K_lite_codec_pack_download.htm) K-Lite Codec Pack This gets lots of good reviews / feedback - I have this installed & don't get problems playing .avi's & videos.

The crash is on The Return (of Darkness and Evil) while it's loading the mission. This is after pressing continue from the screen with the objectives and before it would show the first person view. It usually makes a sound like it's giving me a key just before the crash. I will look into whether this was a corrupt download. I got this file from thiefmissions.com. Does this mission have a video? The one after the prologue worked fine.
BTW, K-Lite is great and is powering my HTPC.:thumb:

I just found that the crash is located in NVdracul.osm. This is the Nameless Voice 1.1.0 script. Without source, I'm left looking at dissassembly.:erg:

Oh no... I just got a feeling I won't get to see dracula?? :( I saw Lord Belial in the throne room... but I want to see dracula! Been told to head back to the inn now. Taking my time here, more than two hours playing time (for mission3 only!) to get this far. LOL
Enjoying it immensly :thumb:

9 hours and 38 minutes! Great value :thumb:
Loved the fighting scene in the final chapter, so well done! A bit disappointed by Dracula, I thought he would be scary :erm: I expected him to be full of inuendo and leering at me but he didn't even startle me....
BUT, fantastic mission! The attention to details made the whole experience believable and, and a beautiful mission too... I'm sad that I've finished it!! I want to go again! Again!
Thank you so much for this mission :)

I'm in part 4 and in the objectives, it says i'm missing a custom script. Which script and where can I get it? It may be the cause of my difficulty in releasing the elementals.

In the OBJECTIVES ? . The objectives has nothing to do with custom scripts. If you have problems with the custom scripts you see a red message at every mission start. I've included in the zip separately the custom script modules in a directory.
Edit: Check this directory in the zip: "Install_scripts".
