Thanks Sensut; I've already activated the 4 shrines by using the talismans, but I can't find anything at the top of the dome that looks like a trigger or a lever. Are the trigger and the lever up on top where you can walk around the outside of the dome and look thru the glass to see down into the throne room, or are they down in the throne room somewhere?

There must be a shrinelike small building or something like this on the top with a button inside, on the other side where the lever is.

Found it! Thanks Sensut!
While the TTLG server was down I managed to finish this exceptional FM and have to say that in spite of the supernatural nasties, I quite enjoyed it! The reason I hadn't played it before this was that I made the mistake of 'judging a book by its cover', meaning that the title itself made me think of hordes of vampires, undead, & haunts so I kept passing it up. That'll teach me, because I ended up having fun and appreciating this FM for what it is - which is great!
Thanks for all your hard work (including the E. Bathory series) and to all who contributed! I look forward to your next FM. :thumb: :thumb:

If I understand that correctly, you are playing mission three ("Traitors of Poienari"), and are currently in a room with a throne-like chair and two statues (depicting knights in armour, perhaps?). Behind one of these statues, these's a switch which moved the chair, revealing Dracula's (?) amulet and the lock.
As far as I remember, when this woman jumped out of the window there was someone else present as well (apart from a guard which ran away), maybe a man in black clothing. This guy dropped a note and a key at the end of the corridor where he and the woman were acting. This place is not very close to the one where the chair moved after using the switch.
If that's correct, then you have to look for this key which was dropped. I think it was a black key, and an ornamental one, not the standard variant.
I also believe I found some important things (and maybe a key) in a library containing, among other things, notes providing information about someone called Stephen, Stefan or something similar. So, if you don't find a key near the place where the woman jumped out of the window, then maybe I'm wrong and the key is somewhere in this library.

Wonder why you'd removed the fog from the first mission. It looked so good.

I've removed because there were problems in those days with the fog in Thief 2. It was fixed then next in DDFX but I gave it up already.

Where is the rod to open the second gate in the room with the red skull haunts?
Mission: Love Thief
NVRMIND... I found it in the most obvious spot...

Man, I should really reinstall Thief 2 again. Next to Rose Cottage, this has to be one of the most atmospheric FMs I've ever seen.
Sensut, if it plays as good as it looks, then you've done an excellent job. :thumb:
