baeuchlein is right. The key to the Throne Room can be found on a shelf in the bedroom area.

OK my first post. Just got this game in the bargin bin (great !) My first FM is this one (fantastic !) I feel like a complete noob but I am stuck on mission 2.
Game start ..fall through roof, read note. Go down the hole in floor get water arrows and a gas arrow. Follow tunnel use rope arrow to climb up.In room get crowbar,crumpled note and gas arrow..use lever bar to open gate.Back down the hole, up and out. Use crowbar on locked doublegate, fire arrow at target, crypt room opens...then ?
I have looked every where I cannot find a key, only three doors I can see, main double door,door with people on the other side and door in upper room blocked by bars, cannot open any of them.(they don't even make noise when i try to pick them)
What am I missing ? What don't I see ? I have walked and crawled around every wall for 30 minutes HELP pleeeeezzze. I know I am going to feel stupid when some tells me the answer and it was right in front of me..but I gotta know..help

In this series, the crowbar acts as a special lockpick. You try it whenever all the other keys plus the conventional lockpcks don't work. You opened it on the doublegate successfully, try it on the double door with people on the other side :)

Hi all.
Is there a walkthrough for the entire campaign somewhere ?
I started playing it 3 years ago, loved it, but then got stuck near the end of the fourth mission and I could never finish it, so I gave up. But now I've got quite a lot of free time and I'm replaying various FMs, so I'd like to give the fourth mission another go.
Thanks in advance for any hints.

http://www.ricebug.net/thief/Dracula.zip) this zip file (thanks to fibanocci for mentioning it). I don't know whether there's a full walkthrough anywhere; Cheap Thief mission downloads doesn't list one.
Try it with this PDF (regardless of whether you play the
original version or the
Reloaded version; they're not completely different), and if you get stuck again, you may either search the forums or ask your question. You should consider checking whether you have the newest version of the campaign (1.4 for the original campaign and 1.31 for the Reloaded one), as there have been some bugs in the older ones.

Thanks ! I'd decided to prefer a walkthrough just because I don't want to clutter the thread with too many "what do I do now ?" posts. Though I might use the advanced search function if all else fails. Still, thank you. :thumb:

The zip file is from www.
ricebug.net and was called a walkthrough at least once. However, it's rather a collection of hints about some more difficult parts of the Dracula FMs, so I would not call it a walkthrough.

Ok. I've fought and killed my way throughout the castle, found all the keys, opened the rooms , got the water shrine key and talismans. I've used the key to the water shrine put the water talisman in and now....I can see the other key in the center, how the hell do i get it ? I've run in ( and died) tried jumping over ( and died) gave myself a massive dose of asperin to bring up to full health and still died. What am i doing wrong, those damn bubbles or the water kill me everytime.
no matter how fast i get in and out I die..did i miss doing something ?
