I seem to recall that when you're in the water in the spider caves, you need to look for a place where there's a vine hanging down into the water that you can climb up to get out. I haven't played the New Dark version but it's probably still the same.

The image below is a oddity, I found a way to
activate the final button and bring Dracula to the throne room early without touching the elemental hearts. Had fun watching them destroy my enemies as they chased me into the room. You will need newmantel to be active.Sensut on 5/6/2013 at 11:29

New mantle is the only thing I don't like in New Dark just because of these things which initially was OK :erm: . This feature is useful in the upcoming, optimized missions rather than the old OMs and FMs.

Yes it allows you to cheat but for me, it's about the climbing. I have always loved that type of gameplay in thief. With the regular vanilla bafford manor demo I was able to get on the manor roof and look down the center at the pool. I used the abundance of crates.
This case in this mission I
got on the roof as normal and the room with the last button on the statue, was to the right. You can walk on a ledge around to the breakable windows. I jump-swung my sword to break window, then newmanteled up into the window. While invisible potion kicking I hit button. Didn't even go to the crypt. Oddly the devil wasn't in the party of 3. I did play normal though and didn't continue this way as I love story and challenge.

Water arrows are in the where you go down with the cloud lift to the catacombs. There are enough water arrows for each difficulty levels.Cannot locate those, any spoiler pls? :)
