Yep, that's where I am. The plaque on the wall says: ARMORY, so I guess this is "the one and only armory", where I probably find the fire arrows.

About the sword: Do you mean the room in the hotel?

I guess I can't get around the sword "stuff", but I'm in need af a rope arrow ánd the armory key .... : really badly now!!!

Great game BTW. I really compliment you on making the "keys on top of doors" ánd "secret buttons" visable at some point, wandering in a room!!!
I really need that visuabillity, when playing a FM, so a big :thumb: for you!!!

Here is a detailed explanation for finding the sword.
1 Go to the gamblers house. It's located right next to the hotel.
2. In the inner room where there is a desk. Press the button underneath the desk.
3. The couch moves. There is a hole with a ladder underneath the couch. Go down the ladder.
4. In a corner of the gambling hall there is a chest. Open the chest and you'll get the sword.

About armory: I still think you are trying the wrong the door. It's not possible that you would be the only person that doesn't have working lock picks. Either post a screenie so that I can easily tell which door you are trying to open. Or email me your latest save at that door and I'll open it for you and send the save back with an open door. About rope arrows: You need to get the keys to the other hotel doors, at the start. In one of the hotel rooms you'll find all the rope arrows you need.

SirFreddieM, I hope you will have better luck this time around. Don't run to fast and you should be able to find most of the loot. Here are some hints to loot that are more hidden.

1. Turn the wheel in the ceiling of the second floor of the thiefs house. That may be all you need
2. In café, lockpick the inner cabinet by the floor.
3. In Hammerite library, cut the banner behind the desk with your sword.
4. In priest room beside library. Move the foot stool
5. In hammerite secret attic above the room of the high priest. Go to the very back just next to the wooden board.
6. Cathedral, second floor, by two Hammerite guards who are standing still, by the doors leading out to out door balcony, there is a ladder in the corner leading up to room full of loot.
7. Only loot in Mansion of Death. Where there is a thief a haunt, another big haunt, a hole in the ceiling. Get out of the elevator, walk straight down the hallway, frob wall lantern for hidden loot.
8. Ring by hammerite pool. Worth 1000. Walk in the middle of the path leading up to the pool. Just as you come up to the water of the pool, there is the ring.
9. Check the cells in the prison. Four cells holds loot. One cell in each corridor.

If I ever come to the Neatherlands I'll make sure I buy a few Teddybears. :D I'm glad you are making progress.
Rope arrows in hotel room: You start in hotel room 3. That's Garret's room. Hotel room 1 and 2 have their doors locked. One key is found in a box underneath the counter of the main hall of the hotel, ground floor.
Hotel room 2 key: Read a readable in the hotel owners office for a hint on the location of the key. Total spoiler It's underneath oe of the chairs in the main hall of the office where you can tell that they were playing cards.
Have you been able to open the armory door yet?
