Phantom & Intruder, I admire your way of playing. :D Building mountains of crates. :cheeky:
But you would have made life easier on yourself had you simply read the starting objectives and breifing more carefully. It tells you to first of all go to the Mayor's office to get more insight into what's going on. That should tell you that his office is probably not on the other side of the city. The Mayor's office is really easy to find. There is a big sign outside the building saying "Mayor's office".
Well, good luck on getting your new objectives done. :thumb:

Found it, thanks!
And also found out how to open the two gates.
Now it's finding more loot. The room above the City Electric building has some valuables, but i've been unable to find a way inside. Could someone explain how?
Brynolf: i've already been there, but forgot it was the Mayor's office :cheeky:.
And that crate mountaining, even If i had completed that insight objective before heading over the wall, I would still miss that key. This was the most frustrating. Luckily that crate stacking was only needed once.
If you do another update, then please fix this and make it impossible to get over the wall :sly:
Overall it's an enjoyable mission.

I had a similar problem in my mission and used the same approach as Brynolf did: an invisible object whichs blocks the player (at least I think Brynolf did it on the wall but forgot to cover the entire wall with it).
Fortunately one of my beta testers found this solution very odd and I simply put a fence on the wall in my mission. So the player will see that she/he can't get past the wall without searching for the right key all over again.
So maybe this could help: place a fence on top of the wall and leave a note next to the gate which gives a hint where to find the key. Something like a letter from a city watch officier where is written that the key is taken to XYZ after midnight or something like this.

You're probably right but somehow you can't force the player to go to X when he reaches a crossing where there is the possibility to go to Y as well. It depends on the player which way she or he is taking. I can only speak for myself now but my approach is allways like this:
If I can see the building / place I am supposed to go (for whatever reason), I start with exploring all the areas surrounding this place to find alternative ways in etc. before I actually enter the place I am supposed to. So if there is a need for the player to first visit a place before carring on (like a key) then you have to make sure, there is no other way until the player gets to the place (or the key). I know this can be hard or even screw the plan of creating a city where the player can move free around. Or you make sure that there is always more than one way - in both directions...

Phantom & Intruder
Thanks for your comments and ideas. Actually I thought that I had prevented the player from going over the wall, using invisible walls. I may make the crates non-frobbable. Actually I had a fence there to begin with, but had to take it away due to high object count around the square. If you get over a certain limit you experience clippings.

Ok, that was one of my "favourite" problems as well :(
Maybe it would help if you could make the wall a little bit higher (~ 4-6 DU's)?

Yepp, that would work. I just thought it looked nice the way it looked. Another soultion would be to make the boxes non frobbable, or reduce the amount.

I agree. The look is very nice, you should leave it and work over the crates instead.
Just in case, this is the location where I got my crates from, to mantle over the wall to the big market plaza: (

Yes, I figured. I'll call you "Crateman" from here on. :cheeky:

How do you stack crates so perfectly? I can't for the life of me stack over 3 crates without getting out of reach from the other crates beside me...(stack crates perfectly vertical though).
PS
Brynolf, I still haven't found any new ways to break your mission =), although you can ko the secluded guard by firing a gas arrow =D
