If only I had made those crates unfrobable...then none of these issues would have occured....:p
What is really funny is that those four crates in the attic appeared (at least to me) to be the main reward for getting up there! First, you have the whole hint/readable/key to hotel room/find rope arrows sequence. If a player solves this and can now finally get up to that place that has been tempting him/her for quite some time, it´s very easy for an experienced Thief player to think just like I did:
"Yeah, yeah, some loot and moss arrows (nice!) but OMG, here are FOUR CRATES, too!! And since it seems impossible to get anywhere, they must be the solution to move on!"

As far, as i'm concerned, there is not enough info, to complete mission...I've been playing for more than 4 hours. I would never have got as far as I have, without the forum. I can only play for a short time and have to come back later. I just found both scrolls. Got objective to find skull...I have not seen anything in the mission, that said anything about a skull. I have no idea where to look. So, here i am back at the forum.

If I remember it correct, you should find it here:
I assume you have both holy keys, proceed to the Hammerite church. Inside the church where the altar is suposed to be, there are two big gates. Use the holy keys on them and the path to the skull will become obvious.

If you read Captain Pilots journal you'll find on the last page that he makes reference to the Skull as the execution site. The document tells you that this is where Joshua was executed. Now, after reading both the Scroll of Death and the Scroll of life and adding all info together, Garret realises that the Skull must be an interesting place to visit.
Write back if you run into more problems and I'll answer as soon as possible. :thumb:

Like I said, it's clear my biggest problem is....I only get to play for short periods of time. I read Pilot's Journal. 5 days ago. 4 hours of game play...It makes it very difficult to keep track of everything.

Marker98, have you thought to print out the readables? I do this whenever there is something important since my memory is slippery. Then you could take a few minutes to do a quick review of what you read the last time you played.

I don't want to read all the other spoilers and ruin the game :( In the market square there are 2 frobable gates and a wooden port with a frobable lockbox on the wall... Where are the keys to these? I've been all the way to the cathedral, but can't get through cause I neither found the scrolls or keys...yet. Please help... I'm guessing this haunted house everyone is talking about is past those gates...eh?
Oh No, what crates am I not supposed to frob? I just downloaded this mission last night. Has any of these issues been updated in it?

Re: the 3 gates in the square
For the metal gate near the tower
The key is on a guard's belt in the overlook by the pizzeria.
For the gate near the Police Station
Hint: You will find it in the High Priest's area.
Bigger hint: There is a secret switch in his room.
Giveaway: Next to the bed is a plant. Click around it. You will find the key in the room that opens.
For the lockbox
You will find it later...on the other side of the gate!

Thanks Pav for the spoiler :D
Ok, I've done all the objectives, but when I placed the wine, bread & will on the mayor's desk that objective did not tick off. Oh, ok, I have to throw the will onto the desk for it to tick off...
I guess I need to get a loot list, cuz I only got 7 thousand something..:tsktsk:
ahh, missed the thieves secret room... That sure brought the gold up :laff:
Excellent Mission !! :sly: Bra jobbat Brynolf :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
