Mr. Munkeepants: No one else has reported a problem with Captain Mainwaring so I doubt it is a bug. Are you sure you have the correct items. :erg:

Bug, in a closet where unfrobbable sword. When this a closet was else locked, I have taken key through door.

ok, I should be banned from Thief for 3 months... I had his key for who knows how long! I just got busy with other things and didn't even realize it!
finally finished in just under 3 hours

I have seen this problem come up several times in the thread, so I know I'm not the only one experiencing this.
I have yet to get Jones to come out of his room so that I can get the key. I'm pretty much stuck here since I know pretty much what needs to be done after I get in there. I dl'd dromed to try the fix that was posted earlier, but I'm either getting a bad dl or the sites to dl from won't come up, so I'm unable to install a good version of dromed to see if he is stuck or if I'm just waiting on a trigger for him. Some advice would be helpful please.

Clearing: I do beleive the sword is in the cabinet on the left in the Sgt's room.:)

A Drgnz Tear: It might be quicker to start again in your case. I think this is a reasonably rare bug. Where's the praying icon?
