Ninive - just went into Dromed and checked the banner ?
The switch is on the other side so you can't reach it from that room. It's a secret passageway from the room with the spinning Hammer and the 2 gems in the pools. That doesn't make sense though - because you can't rope arrow up to the platform in the room - so I have no clue how you're supposed to get up there (unless you use the flying potion).....
Ok, three sheds, no ladder.
I got stuck here as well - you have to
pick the key off the guard at the last shed - which is right before you get to the courtyard where you need to put the ladder. Then you go back to the start point and the gate to the right should open with that key. The shed with the ladder is in there. I had to use the key 2 times on the gate to get it to work for some reason.....
ninive:
the other candle is in a secret crypt. to get there you have to slash a banner in one of the rooms--i can't remember what it's called but it had a small altar with some smoking goblets. then when you use that other candle a sarcophagus in the crypt will move to reveal yet another area.
ninive,
Banners: check out the beds near the floor.
Candles: the second one is in the crypts.
phedre,
I know of one more head: in the graveyard there is a fresh grave with a vase in front of it, use some flowers on the vase

Garrettwannabe,
these two doors were the ones I couldn't open too. Until I realized that the guy carrying the key is just on top of a table in one of those two rooms, unable to get back onto the floor to follow his patrol route.
Just did a spin around the map again and double checked everyone blackjacked and the guards still alive (even in the courtyard) - to no avail....:erg:
I'm gonna just put this one on hold until everyone else figures all the stuff out....:laff:

The last of the monkey heads is in the secret crypts, search the hammer statues for a tiny valve.
phedre on 13/12/2006 at 03:03
i found the last head:
in the crypt there is another sarcophagus that looks like it's above a passage. there is a switch on a nearby large hammer
edit: lol sorry sinister--didn't see your post till after i wrote this :)
btw, are you supposed to
die in the teleporter?
i can't seem to go into the meeting room or mainwaring's room. where are those keys? thanks!

At the moment I have found 10 keys and can't seem to get any further. I've read the post about this fellow standing on a table instead of doing what he's supposed to do. This fellow I take it is found in Sergeant Wilson's room.
I've tried to activate him by banging on the door with the blackjack and he sort of moves around a bit but that's it. He doesn't seem to care about my banging on the door. Most annoying.
Someone mentioned slashing the banners. That would mean by the use of a sword; but where is it?
Not from the wall in Brother Sinclair's room or?
thanks Nightwalker; I've gotten inside, and it is much bigger than I had expected - from the other posts, it seems it gets even larger!
I don't know if anyone else had this problem (it hasn't come up yet) is that the game runs very slowly in some garden sections, and a massive slow down once you get over the fence. I don't know if there's anything that could have been done about it, but it negatively affected gameplay for me, even on a fresh boot.
that said, I really like the lanterns the guards are carrying! Also, the small touch of having metal plates above indoor torches, so they don't set the whole place on fire :D
