ffox, thanks for the reply:) . i don't know why my thief II game is missing the script but i've installed it again. i've decided to restart the mission because it is very good gameplay and i don't want to miss the rest of it.
dude, this is a great fm, very imaginative and unsual but i think you need to add some new info to the 'readme' file, advising players to install the patch if the 'gen_OSM' file does not already have it. it took me over three hours to get to the point where i placed the jewels on the stone face and i was frustrated to find that i had to start again because this is a great fm and i wanted to find out what was next:( . i hope you understand. i'm going to restart it now and have some more fun!
thanks for the advice, cheers!:angel:
hi, i just want to add that i did not add any patches to my thief II game before the one that
was mentioned in ffox's reply. my game is just thief II, installed without patches. perhaps i have should have installed one earlier, i don't know (version 1.18 or something, is that right? i've heard that some fm's don't run properly without that patch). i am new to all this so i'm not very sure. but i'm going to try the patched version of the fm now.

the dude:) ,
i really enjoyed playing this fm, it was great (although i was very frustrated in some places). i particularly liked;
evil dewdrop and her funky sweater:ebil:
and;
the aeroplane-type teleport and easter egg on the roof
unfortunately, i didn't find;
any flying potions and when i jumped from the roof (after i used the ladder) i barely escaped with my life!:sweat:
but it was a fun mission, great to play and i love the 'dad's army' references. fortunately i didn't have to restart the mission after i installed the new scripts so i was able to pick up where i left off. still, i would have restarted the mission anyway.
well done:thumb: ,

I'm nót sure where I found the flying potions, but they aren't too hard to find. They're in a 10-pack-formula!:cool:
They don't do a good "fly-up" BTW, but they'll act if you really need a slowfall potion also.
Think about (nearly) the end of the game ...!
I had it once that the central platform rised with some difficulties: it stoped then went back down a bit and a few seconds later back up :confused:.
If your problem persists several reloads check the following things:
* check if your Thief is patched to version 1.18
* check if you have got the most recent version of every script
* double check the filenames and locations of the scripts (all of them have to be located in the Thief main folder)
* try a restart of the mission
If all the above fails... well I don't know... there must be some other issue then...

Hi guys. I'm stuck. Can you give me a little hand? I think I'm almost at the end of this beautiful mission. I put the 2 coins and the cross opened revealing a dead end. A room with a block on the wall I cannot open. I didn't accomplished the third objective ("It's a fake! Might have as well a look around here") but at the same time I have the last objective accomplished ("Escape with your life"). I also did all the bonus objectives and still the mission doesn't finish. Am I missing something? What action accomplishes that third objective? Thanks in advance for your replies and for your suggestions.

You need to read Brother Sinclair's diary which is on the table in his room.
