Update: I found a key as previosly talked about, but it dont open the metal door with the gear/cpg sign above, what dopes it open..

It seems that the keys may be in different locations based on difficulty selection. I've only played on expert so I don't know about the other difficulties. Maybe some of you dromed types could take a peek inside and confirm this?

JACKofTrades, no, no sound or change in highlight. Odd, though, because I checked all the other barrels and those tops are not highlighted.

Well I found the engine (see below), so where did you find the piston..?
[SPOILER]if you go upto to the area where the archers are then walk along some pipes, you`ll come to a small room with a locked gate, the key for this (which I beleive is in the inn near the water tower/tank (the entrance of which is a wooden door not far from the start point) when you get through the gate, you can ladder down to a labratory area, the engine is there [/SPOILER]
I recon the piston is in that locked metal door up the way from the arrow machine that i cant find the key 2..grrr (I thoguht the key was the one [SPOILER]near the shoemaker.....[/SPOILER] but apprently not when playing on expert...

At least I know now that the piston is [SPOILER]behind the door with the cog sign[/SPOILER]. But I'm still looking for the key. Any ideas where it might be?

One of the big green doors has a switch beside it that can be tough to see if your brightness is set a little low.

that was the problem! now that I'm in, there is a switch in the power room... what does it do, and is there any way into the barred off storage rooms?
