Where can I find the keys to the metal door on the 3rd floor and the gate in the backyard?

For the metal door, it depends upon the difficulty level. On Normal, it is in the library on the round table. On Hard and Expert, it is in the dining room on the third floor near that metal door. You should be able to find the garden key after you get through that metal door, though it might take a little searching.

So I went into the guy's office with the safe, read the book, but I can't find the key - I read that it was behind the painting, but the painting in his office is static. Unless there's another office I missed? :confused:

That is the correct office. You just need to search it more carefully. It is a very small office so there aren't that many places to search.

Ok, I can see a square panel behind the painting but I can't frob it - I assume the key is behind it, but there's nothing I can do to open it. Unless it's only there in another difficulty setting (I'm on normal) :confused:

Great Mission, but I have the same problem as karstenpontoppi -
Burn items objective ticks, but no teleport.......
Tried twice, with and without loot objective. same result:confused:

As I mentioned before, the loot objective has no relationship to this issue. What difficulty level are you playing on? I can send you a savegame which will get you going.
