Cardia it doesn't work because you didn't install the custom scripts from telliamed and Gaylesavers. Install them and try to drop the book again.
Turcail, the Souls are non hostile in the south star, if they attack you that's because you didn't act like if you were undercover. They become hostile after the dark zone, which is at the end of the mission.

i don´t understand i´ve got both scripts installed but still doesn´t work:confused: , unless there is an updated script.
can i consider this mission done or is there any more goals to acomplish?

Odd. Try to drop it in Thales quarters, in front of the fireplace.
Otherwise, the mission is over. Once you drop the book, you go back to the portal and the exit is open, end of the mission.

Ok i assume its done:thumb: , it was a lovely mission one of the most beautifull missions i ever played, you have a great talent Drk, i hope you´ll do more like this one, wonderfull architecture, magic atmosphere, nice ambient sounds and musics, the dark place was really creepy;) pity that was hard for me to play this mission, please next time you make a mission make it easier to be more acessible...now i need to finish "Lord Alan´s factory" ,great mission but hard to finish it:p

Fantastic mission! Awesome creepy atmosphere, especially you-know-where. This is my personal favorite (and underused) variant of the stealth genre: stealth-horror, and you've done a hell of a job at it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish due to the Book-of-Names bug, but I'm sure I'll be playing it again soon, so better luck next time around, I guess. Congratulations on another amazing addition to the Rocksbourg series.

Cardia, about the difficulty I fear that won't be possible, I like challenges. Still I can understand the language can be a problem for us, non english people... ;)
Eigenface, did you install the custom scripts from Telliamed and Gaylesavers ? The book bug comes from this, you need these scripts.

Here's the thing, though: Telliamed and Gaylesaver's scripts are both already installed. I just double-checked. There's more to this bug than simply not installing the right scripts.

Well I hope you're wrong, because otherwise I clearly don't understand why in the hell it wouldn't work ! It just doesn't make any sense...
A few players in this thread posted that they had the book of names bug, but as soon as they installed the scripts everything worked fine. Wtf !? :confused:

which is the map room"?, as I believe I may find that key for a footlocker. I must have been through it and that key Is allusive to me again!. :erm:
