Nothing at all happened in Fire Zone. I was simply walking along the walkway shooting a couple moss arrows in front of me when suddenly I could no longer shoot anything and the bow wouldn't come into view anymore. The game crashed seconds later.
I should point out that TMA hasn't crashed at all until I started playing certain FMs, those being your Rocksbourg series (just those 2 crashes I mentioned) and Eshaktaar's Broken Triad.
I have no enhancements installed, just plain vanilla TMA with DDFix, and the necessary scripts for the FMs. No widescreen patch and no odd resolutions, just 1280x1024.
These crashes may very well just be the quirks of Dark Engine, rather than bugs in the FMs, but it's the first time I've ever seen that coinstack thing and not been able to draw my bow.
I find your Rocksbourg series insanely difficult, which I normally don't like, but I keep on playing anyway. It's interesting to see how you've grown as a mission maker, as each successive episode is better than the last. And most importantly, you've listened to your fans and changed things accordingly. Great job and thanks.
*Rebooted my pc and loaded my game back up, finished the Ice Zone without troubles, but I am getting constant crashes now everywhere and only with Rocksbourg 3. Seems to only happen when I'm shooting moss arrows.
**I'm now in the Dark Zone and have searched the room with the cage with gamma at max and the lantern on, yet I still don't see anything on the walls or floor that resembles a number.
**Nevermind on the number. Got it by trial and error since I had the other 3 numbers.

That's just weird. It looks like it comes from your game, not the mission itself. Betatesters and I, we never had any problem with moss arrows before.
Maybe your game got corrupted somehow, and if that's the case it'll keep crashing with other fms. Did you try to reinstall your Thief 2 ?
Sorry you find the mission that difficult. I like challenge but I didn't want to make it frustrating, the keyhunt in first Rocksbourg is just a complete mistake from me...
Experience comes with practice, I hope I'll keep improving myself with the next part. :p

I haven't bothered reinstalling TMA because it's not crashing with other FMs or the OMs.
And you have no reason to be sorry. You produced some excellent FMs. I'm just not as good a gamer as I used to be.

Really enjoying the mission so far, DrK! However I'm missing whatever item "permits the creation of light" and goes on the left pedestal - I guessed the lantern, but it isn't that. Where is the item I need?

Go to the Workshops, it's in one of the storeroom. It's a green bottle of phosphorescent product or whatever it's called in english.

Thanks, DrK. I've since completed the mission. It continues to astound me, the heights of quality to which people are raising the Dark Engine, especially visually. You've done a great job, sir. :) My only slight quibble is that I'm left with no follow-up video, or story. The mish just ends. It was still many hours of excellent thievery.
Edit: And, I'd like to add, after 10 years of Thievery, Rocksbourg 3 is the first mission I've played through using DDFix to achieve glorious widescreen. At 1440x900, the results are exquisite. What a triumph.

Very nice mission so far. I played to first one and, like many, had some trouble with the keys but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Having an issue with getting into the darkzone... Have the key and Tahsel's key, but cannot get into the dark zone. Went into the Meter room and opened the gate. Interpreter's key won't work....... Another thing is somehow I lost the Trickster's Herb needed to get the Vine key. It's going to take luck to find it in such a huge mission, at least I know it's somewhere in South Star.
There is supposed to be a secret passage mewntioned in a couple scrolls stating in the Interpreter's room. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Any assistance would be appreciated.:thumb: Great job Drk, I'm like a couple of people with having issues in the earlier Rocksbough FM's..

You have Soul kimal's key? and been in the meter room
You do have the dark key?
Then you need to go to Soul Kimal's quarters near the elevator room North west from meter room.
Unpick the door
In there On a box are the instructions for the dark zone
Not sure which secret passage, I think you mean
In Interpretor Tahsel's room. on the side of the bed
on a post is switch which opens a passage up,near some crates.
The tricksters herbs, I thought at first, you had not found them yet. :erm:
I lost two things the first time as well, good hunting.

Have been to the
meter room after reading Dark Zone Instruction manual and opens the second cage witch requires the Interpreter's key, witch I also thought I had the right one. It will not unlock the second cage to get to the thrid lock where my darkness key will work. And yes, I do have the darkness key. The
Trickster's Herb will definitely be difficult to find in fact, I may have to do a total mission restart to hostile the AI, or guess the appropriate time when I used the
Trickster's Herb from the Inventory. I meant to throw a flash bomb, but must have selected it instead, but the question is were in the South Star......
Thirdly, no wonder I haven't found the
secret passage yet. It's in the last Interpreter's Quarters. I've now been in Thales, Tahsel:wot: (First in North start), the Superior Souls room.
Need this one I did find an unhelpful hidden scroll behind the bed of Interpreter Tahsel.
