Stuck again:
I cannot find the Air Left item. I have the Elemental Breath which I think is the Air Right item, but I have no idea where the other one is. Another kind taffer (klatremus) directed me to his loot list, but I really do not know where the "study hall" is suppose to be (his direction say I should look for a broken shard of glass in the SW corner of the "study hall" - I have seached pretty well every "South West corner" in all rooms I believe are a study hall with no luck:confused: )? Everywhere looks like a study hall to me, so his direction to a southwest corner of a study hall does not help me :(
Can some one tell me where this item is and EXACTLY what it is near/under/beside cuz I don't know where this 'hall" is.
I have all keys but air, and so far am really enjoying the mission. :thumb:

Sorry for the confusion. I meant that the study hall (scriptorium) was in the SW, not that the shard was in the SW corner of that room. I didn't read the plaque outside the doorway, that would have cleared things up. It looked like a classroom to me. :) Perhaps my profession influenced my thought process, being a teacher and all.

Halp:
1. Cannot find the Dark Zone door
2. I am dyslexic - are Souls Tahsel and Thales the same person or two different guys?
3. There is a door in a lower area near the workshop or foundery being blocked by a Soul and a Creature. How the frik do I get past these two without using up all my whoopass (bombs, arrows etc) on them? This door belongs to one of the dudes mentioned in Q2.

In the Ascension Room, I can't find the secret the Glyth opens.

Vlain is in the top floor, you have to lockpick a door thats on your right when you exit the staircase.

New information: The problem vanishes if I use Windows XP instead of Win98, so it's probably a driver issue, and perhaps even one only I am experiencing. Just forget about it if you haven't already.

I somehow got the big guy ontop of the railing next to him. He seems to no longer do anything once he's up there, lol. I can beat him up, run, jump and he just stands there.

But I am still stuck
Thales will not accept the Book of Names. I throw it on him, near him, around him, and nothing happens. I have not been to the Dark Zone bcs I cannot find it and I have not made the key for the Air Zone, so not sure if this is why he doesn't do anything when I give him the book. He is the dude standing by the fire place, right? The guy with the little bedrrom upstairs....yes?
And as I asked above, I cannot find The Dark Zone or the Air Zone

I had the same problem -
it has to go on the small marble-top table next to him near the fire, and on my system I found it didn't work if I put the book down after he finished talking... which is a pretty big glitch. You have to get in there and drop the sucker BEFORE he finishes prattling on.
