Unfortunately this isn't accurate. With some players it perfectly works, with others it's random, with others it just doesn't want to work...
Again, this bug just doesn't make any sense, it works perfectly with me. There must be something about it, a setting or a situation which influes on it. One just needs to find it, I can't.
And Gillie, you're giving wrong answers : LuckyHOG found the real Thales, the one in the south star with a little bedroom upstairs. The one you're talking about is Superior Soul Dumah...
And the mech mask can be found in the dining hall (SOUTH STAR) and the rotten flesh in the kitchens (NORTH STAR)
Way to get confused ;)

I was not talking about Dumah, I meant Thales. I though he had found the book already and need to take it back to Thales, which of course is South star I am of course wrong, I got them back to front North/South.
I am so sorry then. I won't answer anyone again. :o :o
Edit: Either way I think someone else further down is having a dig. I have had it here!.

Hey no worries, keep helping taffers if you want. Just be sure you give them the correct names ;)

I finished the mission on shadow without running into any bugs. I missed about half the secrets on this one.
points: a)
I felt the mission had a completely different atmosphere than the last two, for me this was a bad thing.
It felt standalone, not a continuation.
b) it also felt like a key hunt nightmare. When you can't pick a lock, until you complete a particular objective; you are taken out of the immersion and a number of these quirks I encountered. I would point out that although it says do not go into the other zones, you can & I did :)
Its been a long time since I spent 5 hrs playing a mission and felt underwhelmed.
Beautiful, mission, appreciate your hard work, I hope the next mission in the series is fleshed out a little better, the story tighter and the areas a little more "compact".
I just felt all the running around was not useful in this case.
I'd like to add is I may have missed some objectives by not finding all secrets.
So maybe it can be blamed on that.

Ravenus, the atmosphere was indeed different than the 2 previous missions, it's a completely different setting : a keeper-like mission compared to cities missions. And no outdoors. I can't see how I could have managed to redo the same atmosphere (furthermore I didn't want to). ;)
I know I love to create mazes to explore, but I guess it works better with streets than corridors. Anyway, I needed to do this mission for the campaign. sorry you didn't enjoy it that much.
It's interesting to see how the theme of this mission tends to both the extremeties : basically you love it or you just don't like it at all. I noticed it in several mails and in feedbacks from this thread, that previous post is just one more of them.
It's not about the graphics and atmosphere, I just keep receiving compliments about them. It's about the idea, the nature of the mission. Would it be the reason why there aren't many keeper-like fms out there ? They don't seem very popular.
And Queue, good arguments (especially the french one :laff: ) but he's out already. Thanks anyway :p
Now an announcement : I'll start to work on Rocksbourg 4 in the coming days :D
Everything is planned, I have tons of ideas and custom ressources I created to help me, now I just need to begin taffin' on dromed...
And it's a city mission for the ones who don't know yet.

To each his/her own opinion on the flow of the story. I think all city missions, though I do love them, would be boring for a continued story line.
The immersion I felt as I got to know the souls, the story line sucked me in. This FM was different, I felt it had to be in order to get to know the souls even better. We were in their territory, what better way to get to know them, on their own ground.
Keep going DrK, you da man!:cheeky:
