It's the pickable state of the footlocker which changed. When you were talking to Soul Vlain, Soul Uprov came out of the forbidden books room, went to his quarters and locked the key in the footlocker before to sleep.

Ok I recognized I installed both of the scripts AFTER starting the FM. So this could be the problem in my case.
Otherwise I also have the english version installed.
Don't know, I'll try to play it again with scripts some other time.

Me too. Glad to have that mystery explained.
This was simply stunning in all respects. All the superlatives have been used already.
I've made it to the Dark Zone without help, all other objectives completed, but now I'm petrified and can't bring myself to move on. And yes, I know it's only a game. :) I think I need a hand to hold. Is there going to be a walkthrough ever? Usually I can do the scary stuff then.

Seriously BA, I'm just not feeling very courageous these days. The rest was fine but perhaps it's more scary in the thinking than in the doing?
