Good grief.....i think this mission has taken me longer than bunches of others combined...really want to sink my teeth into art of thievery....but cannot download it!!! ah well patience always got a goo blackjack'n in.....anyhoooooo, i thought i was almost done but never found the log book....went all over the ship....then came to this thread....and i am currently IN the evidence room and there is nothing here!!! ....[/SPOILER] i am playing on hard and it is my last objective!!! PLEASE...i hate to leave a game unfinished

nil8hate, I think you may be in the wrong place. [SPOILER] To get to the Evidence room, go into the secret passageway (the one that opens in the room with all the skulls around the doorway), climb to the top of the first ladder, then turn around and look behind you. There's a passageway on the opposite side, so jump across and at the end, you go through a floor hatch down into the Evidence room. [/SPOILER]
If that's where you are and you can't find anything to do, did you [SPOILER] flip all the levers in the control room that has a window out onto the ledge around the courtyard? The controls that open the Evidence lockers are in there. [/SPOILER]

you know, when i went back through before asking my question, i noticed that you gave that hint before about where to look, but i could not see anything....now i am really curious and will need to go back and look again!!! will let you know....

NW....how did i miss that? well it was dark, and i was not looking very well, and no one was holding my hand, and and and....well, maybe i simply need to go back to thief 101 for a refresher course!!!! your help is invaluable.

I think this mission needs a walkthrough. Is there one anywhere? I'm stuck at the jail cell controls and I've hardly gotten any of the goals accomplished. I've also been playing quite a while, not that that's a bad thing. Smuggler's Request is a wonderfully designed mission, but it's damn tough. I just wish there was a walkthough somewhere.

If you're stuck in the jail cells, go into the 2nd floor cell with a chest in it...you might find a way to keep going.

ahhhh! Thanks! Now I'm moving on. I found the evidence locker door and room, but how do you unlock the metal door in that room?

Do you mean the evidence locker room itself or the room you get into from the ledge that has the door controls? The way into the evidence locker room is different on Hard and Expert from Normal. On Hard and Expert [SPOILER] you need to look for a secret passageway in the room with the skulls around the door. When you climb the first ladder in the passageway, stop at the top and look behind you. [/SPOILER]
