I opened all of the cells and all the people took off running. Where did they go?
Nightwalker on 8/7/2003 at 20:33
I didn't have any saves on Normal so I had to play through to that point. There's only one prisoner in the cells on Normal. He's on the lower level, wearing a green tunic. He doesn't seem to leave the jail area even when alerted. When he settles down he goes back into his cell, like a good prisoner. :cheeky: Maybe you just knocked him out? He's not labelled when you pick him up, but if you kill him, the objective will tick off.

Thanks for all of your help! It's greatly appreciated. I will try to find him and finish this mission tonight.

I asked in what I thought was the right forum, but was redirected here
by theBlackman (thanks)...
Hey,
I am stuck in Smugglers' Request. Can't find:
Captain of ship.
Key to door near big square door near large 4 cell room.
Torture chamber (found zombie "morgue" etc, but no torture chamber).
Any *one* of those should help me get unstuck... I hope.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by
Quote:

Did you go
down an elevator to get to the area with the cells? If so then at the far end, there's a storage room on the left. Go in and look up. That will get you into the torture room and let you find the Captain, as well some information you'll need later in the mission.
thanks for the help... actually, I solved it (kinda). I did look up there
but maybe my gamma was off or something (I like things dark)... anyway
the way I "solved" the fm was by accident... I was "using" every square
inch of the door to the torture chamber, when I accidently triggered
the switch *on the other side of the big steel door* (not a logical
way to get in a door but it ended my frustration). Another side-note:
when I passed the guard by the elevator to teh lower part of the city
(and the end-point), that one guard with the doxie fell under the elevator
and, well it was quite messy... had to knock out the fem as she became
quite hysteric after that (so I'm a bit violence prone, sue me)... All-in-all,
it was a very enjoyable mission, and I highly recommend it to the one or two
other taffers who may not have experienced it yet...
thanks again.

Santiago, I thought you might do better here. Nightwalker will always have the correct answer, and is as reliable as you can get. :D
Isn't Capt. Ash the dandy in the room where you find the master key to the cells, etc? The objective says to kidnap him and toss him in the sewer. I blackjacked this person and threw him in the sewer and I got a "game ended" reason given I wasn't supposed to attack any bluecoats.
 , as usual.
Never mind. Stuck on the ship and in re-reading threads found the answer to my question above. Now, I just have the ship to figure out.
:)

Playing on expert, have read all these posts and still can't find the ship captain.
The two level cells contain only a man and a woman. Took the man to the smuggler's house but that didn't work. In the torture chamber area there are four cells. These are empty. In the torture chamber itself, there is only a mechanist guard and someone with the info in the spoiler below. The torture chamber IS the area where one gets the
directions for doing buttons on the ship, right?
Don't have a clue as to where else to look for this guy.
Great mission but am totally wrung out at this point.

He should be
lying on one of the torture tables in the torture room itself.
and yes, it's where you said. :)
