This was the guy's FIRST FM I think ? It is truly amazing ! It is just so huge and lasts forever, with so many areas! The ship and the viaduct are incredible pieces of work.
I wish he would make more FM's, I think he did "Raid on Washout Central" as well, but that's all sadly.

No, Belboz did "Raid On Washout Central". RiCh's other mission was as amazing as his first one. He did "The Art Of Thievery", one of my favourites.

Thanks for correcting me.
What happened to "Rich" ? Is he still an active member of TTLG ?
Nightwalker on 23/1/2007 at 03:39
No, he hasn't been around for quite awhile. I tried contacting him a couple of months ago but got no response so I guess he's gone on to other things.

I just played Smuggler's Request for the second time (this time on Hard) and enjoyed it even more than the first time! More objectives on Hard and the mission is unbelievably, wonderfully extensive! I was awed to discover that this was Rich E's first FM! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
So, how about it Rich? I see from the Phantom's upcoming FM list that you've been working on a couple new ones. Any chance either one of them is a sequel (or at least similar) to S.R.?
Seems like forever between new FM releases lately. Okay, so patience is not one of my strengths. :o

I think there's a misunderstanding here. RiCh gave up on making anymore FM's, which saddened many of us!!! He was a terrific creator and his Missions were a work of Art. :) I'm afraid those two are our only gifts from him...unless maybe he's noticed TDM being made for future FM's and might take an interest in that process...have no idea?

I'm only going by what I read in Phantom's upcoming missions thread under 'Author: RiCh E':
(
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109278)
And hoping that 'Release date: unlikely' for his two unfinished FMs isn't a definite 'never'.
The Fire Eater on 1/3/2007 at 00:15
The thread regarding his last postings are dated 2002 and he hasn't been back. So there ya go. ;)
Nightwalker on 1/3/2007 at 02:27
He did pop back for a bit after the T3 editor was released, under a slightly different user name and gave us a bit of hope that he might be working on missions again but he quickly disappeared again, I'm afraid. I think it's highly unlikely that those missions will ever see the light of day. :(

Just a note that I've updated
RiCh's profile (#66) in the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109278) List of Upcoming Fanmissions with some news links.
He dropped all his project at first, but resumed working on them a few months later (march 2003).
Not that this makes any difference though :p. Like Nightwalker said, it's unlikely he'll return and release his unfinished missions.
