Heyo, Haplo! :D
Though you may not have fully made this mission, you did a good job dovetailing it all into one nice mission for the fall season (A winter-themed FM :p)
Also, it's very funny how the banner in that one room covering the window is simply in place, because on my system it seems that the trees outside are clipping due to how the brushes are rendered. Is this at all what you intended? Because the diary is a great way to hide that fact, if so
UPDATE: Yet another thing I gotta nitpick on, that as best as you did to block access to it for "Brother PinkDot", the footpath along the monastery wall is easily accessible if you jump in such a way, as to be able to climb onto the roof of the red barrier crypt. Just thought I'd mention that, as I didn't notice any scene complexity problems, looking out at the map.

All I did was to tell you (and in a much milder tone than your original post) that you were unfairly complaining about the mission when you hadn't even explored it properly and had missed a couple of obvious rooms.
You may very well be right. I couldn't possibly comment.

I just went back and checked, and you guys are right. However I did not change any of the arrows properties; I must have inherited the gamesys like that. I'll compare it to the original gamesys.
It must be my fault - I did play with arrow properties while ago, but I couldn't remember about that after all that many years. Sorry for that folks - ideally such gameplay changes should have been mentioned in the readme.txt...

As for the mission itself - Haplo, you did a great job (which you already know, I believe... ;) ). I was surprised many times and really enjoyed it. Not to mention, that you dragged me back to Thief after so long time. And who knows, maybe for longer than just that one mission...
Thanks!

Yeah, overall a great mission. I just gotta finish it. I stopped because I got annoyed trying to fight the monk-demons with my touchpad... :P

Alright. I hope you will enjoy my future missions more.

Hey everyone, look
who is here! The guy culpable for the monk AI and most of the architecture!
A few months ago when I announced I was working on finishing an abandoned mission I said it had the best AI and some of the best architectural design I had ever seen in the Thief world. I was right, wasn't I?
Thanks PinkDot.

IIRC...Once the red mist barriers are down you need to go
through the small door in the attic. It's in one of those bedrooms. You can also get to the same area by going up the stairs just outside the door to the church.
Haplo, I think I've just lost all interest in finishing this mission. Thanks anyway.
Dafydd
Sadly, I've done this too after spending too much time here searching for clues, like Dafydd (and I HAVE read and understood the readables btw) and then spending two evenings trying to progress. It's all been very frustrating particularly as its such a beautiful mission - who'd have thought the Dark Engine could be tweaked like this?
To cap it all, I simply cannot locate the key in in the dead monks room - it's just not present and I've clicked everywhere. So now I'm down to two lives and no more Health potions or food. I cannot progres any further and so I regretably decided to stop playing and move on. The first time this has happened in many years of playing FM's.

I think you are looking for the key in the wrong place. Near where you used the guard's key above the first courtyard, there is a book referring to a bad smell. Look up near the door.
