The Dead Monk's key you will use when you can go through the doors covered in red. You have to do something first. The gargoyle you need is in a room down a chimney. Did you find that?

OK - good luck with the dentist! :) You will need to look at the rooftops and look for a chimney with smoke coming from it.

I sure hope i can spoil this picture with the 'S' function...
It's a sloppy map, but it helped in this huge 'labrinth'. It's got notes and questions in the Margins I have 1 question for starters;
1. In the SW corner in the bldg, in the outter wall with the broken staircase & boulders. Is that the attic where the red light is? If not, what attic? If yes, how do I get up there? There are no windows/doors to that section.

No, that attic is up the stairs in the room that has a fireplace in the middle and beds next to the walls.
