Hi Haplo, this is a good fan mission. I've been taking a break from Thief for over a year and decided yesterday to try a new episode. I've liked yours in the past, so thought I'd try this one as a way to get back in the game. It started out a bit slow for me at first, but got much better as the map started to open up for me.
I'm not too far into it - about an hour; however, I am stuck on some stairs the ones with the bolders blocking the way. I used a mine to blow up the bolders and can jump onto the stairs, but cannot go up them no matter what I do. It seems I get trapped on the broken beam - even if I look like I am 1/2 way up the top part of the stairs I read through this thread and 2 other people asked a similar question, but I never saw an answer. Is it worth trying to get up there at all, or is itr not meant to be solved? Please, does someone know? I have spent about an hour on this. I get obsessive on things soemtimes :cheeky: I'm just going to move on now, but would really appreciate an answer on this one. I'm worried I'm just not using enough skill.

Don't worry about the stairs, you are not supposed to be able to get up there. You'll see later. I never thought someone would try to blast their way through it!

No problem ;) I've completed the game now. Pretty good story overall. It was good enough to keep me obsessed. I am glad you spend the time to do this stuff. Being a Database Admin by trade, I know how tedious and intense this work is. Thanks to you and all fellow development taffers out there that build new FMs! :thumb:

Playing on easy. Have monk key. Have gargroyal. Did serpent lock thing. did security gate. Did antenna. Got code book. Still have artifact. Can't seem to move forward from here.Looking for a pedestal to set something on. I'm sure I missed something along the way BUT please send a cheat or hint. Thanks, The Geez :confused:

Ah sorry, I had misunderstood your position.
If I understand correctly, you have the gargoyle but have not used it yet. Go back to the library, go up, use the serpent key to unlock the door and continue from there.maloo on 3/1/2012 at 01:32

Would someone please give me a clue to where I should find the Monk's key? I have been all over, but can not seem to locate it.
I was told I need a rope arrow but not a clue as to where...
