Iirc: In the courtyard with the well where you start the mission, go up the stairs and to the door. As soon as you go through that door, look up.

OK...where is the candle...please help..

Well, have you opened the doors with the red force field yet. If so, you need to complete the puzzle in the cloister rooms. That will give you a glyph code to use in the cathedral.

OK...thanks...There was quite an Adobe hintguide I found quite helpfull. By Ricebug I think...thankyou to you all for great hints. Also a special thanks to the author. Top noch mission.
Thankyou ;)

Finished with 7 out of 10 secrets found. Figured it out all by myself, except in one case - the code. I think the rule #6 is ambiguous, didn't understand it right. If the mission ever will be updated, the rule #6 better be restated, f.e. like this: Each of any two letters is immediately followed by a number.
What to say, generally it was a big fun. The thing I didn't like somewhat was lack of architectural details/decorations and "milky" lighting, I mean poor contrast and desaturated colours as result. The mission is surely huge (mis file is 28 mb), but it looked kind of empty (architecturally) and unfinished, I understand that much more time would be needed to fill it with details and make it more graphically catchy, so that's ok (the main chapel was really impressive though), and layout was realistic. Anyway, the mission was inviolving and fun from start to finish and that's what's really important. Liked the puzzles and enemies, even though I generally don't like mechanists in missions.
Also, I like how each mission of the campaign includes new/different enemies. Insanity's Crescendo had some hypersensetive guards (on Expert at least) and I just had to bj them (which by the way wasn't easy at all, unlike it usually is), and this mission's AI could be realatively easily avoided to play no damage or ghost (at least in the first part). I like such diversity.
Puzzles were as always great, but still, so far I've liked the IC's second part puzzles the most. Overall, very enjoyable and quite challenging mission, thanks!
PS: please hint me about the easter egg. I noticed a metal grating in one of the toilets, but didn't find a way to open it, could be it.

Did you play Of The Sinister Awakening too?

Thanks, and yes, I finished A Sinister Awakening too. It was interesting and beautiful, but short, excellent as interlude mission. Barely escaped with my life from those hypersensetive monks :)

Hello,
Gorgeus and fun mission, but I seem to be completely stuck now. Don't want to read the whole thread for fear of getting spoiled. I hope to get just a small nudge into the right direction.
There are no actual frobbable doors I can't open at the moment. I have found silver- and bronze serpents and I have the code book. Looks like I need to find a gold serpent somewhere in or around the main cathedral.
There is a row of glyphs on a wooden beam at the bottom of the cathedral tower. I presume these open the floor hatch?
- Are these glyphs related to the readable about the code and I need to find a way to translate the glyphs into letters and numbers? There is one that looks like a '4' but I can not see anything similar for the rest...
- Or is that code scroll for a later puzzle, and I simply need to find a hint for the glyph puzzle somewhere?
Another question: out in the workshop/mining building, I managed to blow up two rocks in the collapsed stairway, but it seems there is still some sort of invisible wall preventing me from climbing the stairs even when I managed to get up past where the rocks were. A scouting orb tells me it looks intersting up there. Or is this a red herring?

Hint 1:
Borj was seen carrying it to the main chapel (the area with the scaffolding). Search there.Hint 2:
Climb the scaffolding and jump out of the window.Glyphs
You'll find what you need for the glyphs later, once you've got all the serpents and have placed them and got a bit further.Workshop/Mining Building
Again, you'll get to that bit later from another direction.

Thanks nickie, looks like I need to explore the roof areas more, then!
I've been out there quite a bit already, and found 3 interesting things:
- Study area reached through a chimney. Found only some loot and a gargoyle statue in there, though.
- Got a good view of a hallway (blocked by red barrier from below) on upper floor in building by cloister. Not possible to mantle into the hallway since the window isn't high enough for that.
- Found the angle I needed to fire a rope arrow into the snow in the windowsill of a library window. Carried three crates to the starting courtyard and reached the rope from there. Eventually realized that a far easier (but not as cool!) way into the library would have been from the outer wall you can climb barrels and a large crate to reach...
