Have you done sth. already with the ash and the esther? If not: Go to the room with the tombs and put the esther and ash into the frobbing lamp thats hanging above you and light it with a fire arrow or a flare.

If you did that, the object you put under the lamp is moving and you see a circle with glyphs around it.
Hint: Take a good look at 4 of the glyphs. They appear different than the others
Spoiler: There are lightning beams shining on 4 of the glyphs. Remember those 4 glyphs (or better: write them down). Then go to the room with the broken stairs (the one behind the big room with the wooden scaffold). On one beam you see some glyphs and here you have to frob the 4 ones you wrote down. Then the small metal door on the floor opens.

What room exactly? There is no dead monkey in this one or at least I didn´t see one if I remember correct.

i'm looking for the key of a chest to get a stone, which i need for the casket.
i read that this key should be on an attic of a room . this room should be in the near of a place, where Garrets says something about closeness or frowst. but i can only find the room of the dead priest, but there is no attic

Ah you are talking about the dead monk.
If I remember correct, you have to go up the outside stairs (the ones on the right side of the well) and go through the door. There is a table with a scroll on it that says how there´s sth. that smells really bad and it should be downstairs. But instead of downstairs it´s right above you. You can hear flies flying around there aswell. Use a rope arrow and there´s the key on a dead monk and also a loot purse.

no i'm talking about the artifact. the life crystal was needed in the coffin
