Apostrophe you'll kick yourself, the key on Normal is
on the window sill right beside the front door.Kokobollo, as Tannar said are you sure you got

On Expert, I am getting nowhere fast, so I had a peek at one clue from the cheat sheet.
The only problem is, there's no compass in my inventory!

Yikes, sorry about that! The kitchen fireplace is west, the back door is north, the living room fireplace is east, and the front door is south.
