Alright, finished an Ironman run Normal with 1930 in loot. I had to look up the location of the Mechanist item in this thread- mandatory secret. :(
The size of the mission and the texture work are impressive. This is one good looking mission. The engine did spaz out a bit when I was looking up to the balcony in the main hall at one spot, otherwise it handles those large spaces well. That being said, the mission could use some more guards. The place feels a bit empty the way it is. Do the harder difficulty levels feature more enemy AI?

Hello all I have seemed to found a bug with two sets of the double doors in this mission when I opened them they were fine but when I closed them the left one flew off into space??? One set was in the first hall to the left that leads to an office and the other is the set that leads straight into the cathedral??:p
Edit: It seems all the beautifuly decorated double door are doing this when I close them the one door flies off and when I open it again it returns!
I enjoyed the mission!! Just would like an answer to this problem if it is my install or not?

two questions:
*I'm 30 minutes into version 1.0 (or whatever version visitforknights.zip is), is it worth starting over with 1.1?
*there is a plate embedded in the floor of Priest Jonathan's room - is that a secret to open?
EDIT: finished without upgradinh, did't experience any problems.

Gonna agree as well - The mission was definitely huge and impressive but ultimately felt a little empty and soulless as far as NPCs. A few servants here and there and more patrols would have definitely made things more interesting.
Still alot of fun, though!

Did NOT like the "NO KILL" instructions,:( as there was not a lot else you could do to liven the place up,if you didnt kill once in a while :D even if it does end the game:p
I felt I had to kill a few times as I was getting a little bored..I could not find very much reason that even warranted "Guarding" the mansion...one of the main halls with the large pikes on the fireplace looked like it had good potential for loot at first...but there was only a bottle or something in there..lol..also up on the balcony in that room there were tables and drinks...I am sure I would not want to climb all those stone stairs with me cuppa and sit there to drink it,not with my knee joints :).I would be down by the fire.
I did enjoy prattling about for an hour on it tho,and I enjoyed it,in so much, that it was "NEW"...as I am a true thief fan and will play anything thats thrown.
I did like the style and architecture..the lilly pond in the middle was a refreshing surprise, but there was nowhere for the AI to sit...surely they would enjoy that area, not just using it as a walk-through to other areas?
and why would you leave the front gates undone,if you pop down the local shops.?
I hope I have not offended here, just some observations for your next one!
