I really liked that little bit Slyfoxx, I was about to backtrack with basso, when it occured to me how to get back to my flat.. These little kinds of "puzzles" make missions great.

Very nice mission so far, SlyFoxx. Playing without sword and blackjack is a real challenge. Sometimes I really needed to catch my breath and look for an alternative way past a group of alerted guards. I'm not a very good ghoster ;)
But when I entered a courtyard, I suddenly got massive framerate problems which made continuing the mission not very pleasant :( Can you fix this if you're planning to release a new version? I really want to finish this mission without headache :p

Thanks Slyfoxx. Ya know I shot an arrow into the side of the window thinking that would get me close enough, but I must have been just a little off because it kept missing. Anyway I got as close to being under it as I could and got one to stick. Fun mission, nice look, I liked the wavy used looking streets.:)

Slyffox, as mentioned in a previous thread, I started the mission without any equipment so I just had to rely on what I found. But the water arrows are really sparse and now I have to face the following problem: I am in the prison and there's a guard moving in front of a cell which contains a zombie. Now I have no more water arrows and every time I try to go past the guard he sees me and rushes at me, even if I use moss arrows. I tried to kill him but the man never dies even with four arrows in him !!! I wished there had been more water arrows! What am I to do now ? I hope I don't have to go back to a previous save :erm:
Sorry I forgot the spoiler :o

The Phantom mentions "framerate problems". Is this what my problem is? After getting Basso across the canal, my game becomes like slow-motion and floaty. Have never had this problem before. Can someone, please, explain to me what is happening to my game? And, can I fix this? Really enjoyed this fine fm.

RE: frame rate. I have no idea what is causing the slow down as there is absolutly nothing fancy going on "backstage" or anything that's a resourse hog. I can't be of any help here.:(
@Mosely...OK so you got the
guard messing with the zombie...btw that seems to be 50/50 random occurence....half the time you can get through the mission with him ignoring the zombie.
what to do about it
...depending on where the guard is standing you can sneek up and try to pick the lock on the zombie's cell...if you can do that without getting spotted you should be in good shape....another option is to crush the guard with the elevator. Get him to chase you...hop on the elevator....many times he will run underneath it...hit the down button and crush him.
Great mission, SlyFoxx :thumb:
I had to hold back my longing to use the blackjack (though I took it with me - of course only for reasons of precaution :cheeky: )

Thanks for the info Slyffox !:cheeky: didn't think about the elevator. I thought about opening the zombie's cell but the guard caught sight of me so I had to give up . :p
By the way, I have no framerates problems at all. Everything's ok for me !

Great Mission, Sly! Had a blast and am looking foward to the next part :)
By the way, I don't think it was directly answered but does
dropping the suicide note somewhere in the Rothchild's house do anything?
SlyFoxx on 29/10/2005 at 17:54
Maybe.;)
