T2 FM: "Acquiring New Ventures" - 15 August 2025 -- *UPDATED TO v1.2* - by Kubrick

Kubrick. Thank you for the latest version 1.2.
For Section 1, are you able to say what the max loot possible is? (I imagine that, as previously, it's not possible to go back).
I assume its the same for all 3 difficulties, (I can see it’s the same for the completed mission in all 3 difficulties).
I currently have 975 in Section 1 on the easiest difficulty (designated as Hard).
...
Trivia:
In the * Play Information *
Version 1.2 says.
Version : v1.1 (30.08.2025)Not a problem, but it fooled me for a moment because I also have the 1.1 version.
I know, I should delete it.:tsktsk:
Thanks again.

I'm not sure because I haven't checked myself, but a very thorough tester reported 980. There is no loot placement differences (only objective to reach) between difficulties.
Yes, I changed that on the readme already, thanks for reporting it tho!

980 ...
Arghh!.
I was hoping I'd found it all.
But it gives me a reason to check again, and possibly for what type of loot.
Thanks.
Edit:
HaHa. Found (hopefully) the last 5 of Section 1. A hunch paid off. Sloppy original searching on my part.
Onwards and Downwards.

I second that. “
Anciana Con Pañuelo Rojo” - (Old Lady with Red Scarfe) - by Juan Manuel Blanes.
Kubrick on 1/9/2025 at 19:34
Yes, Blanes is pretty much a one of a kind national painter, not very present on the memory of argentinian people really. Really enjoyed people going out of their way to find the media that the FM contains. Definitely gonna keep adding thiose. Thanks for your interest.

first time i seen that painting was i think in a cardia mission :) melon collie in Porto i think
matter a fact he added the grandma in the mission as a npc i was in shock when i first seen her, she is amazing resting in chair at a table, he made 2 version of the mission, second is more polished and better over all but i think i like music from first version better
also i was playing second setting in difficulty

further into v1.2, and I'm noticing more differences after the big story change:
the sewer entrance to the kitchen is now inaccessible, reducing possible entrances to the museum and making it a bit more linear.
not having the v1.0 flaming raging fiery sword of doom makes the enemies at the end a lot trickier! torch arrows don't put them down permanently.
just for fun I decided to go into the mansion via the rooftops rather than vents from the library and it is much harder starting in the loud marble area!
and some new/returning bugs:
whatever script kept equipped weapons and items up on a reload has broken; it was nice to have, but not vital (we've done without for 25+ years). hopefully it doesn't affect anything else.
the candle on the torturer's desk wasn't lit, but was frobbable to put out.
opening the weapon cache and balcony jewelry box in the museum lobby did not trigger the Found Secret message, nor did the one above the sewer tunnel on the way out.
the sewer lid covering the ladder up to Sickert Square now has a non-translucent box around it in the 'partially closed' position.
the boarding house has some sound issues: the BDSM room door is in a quiet zone (must lean in to hear key/pick clicks), and the boots in the greenhouse room make a clink noise like a bottle when stepped on.

Thanks MrMunkeepants, but of those, only the one about the sewer lid and the one about secrets not counting is an actual bugs. Not the rest.
We really spent a lot of time with testing secrets, who knows what's up there. Will see if I muster a 1.3 just for that but I don't know...

Beautiful work, lots of enjoyable innovations. I liked both the original and the updated version (had no problems with the former), except the forced ghosting in Maestro (simply not my cup of tea).
I found 5342/5645 loot and 4/5 (in the original 3/4) secrets: sewer attic, museum balcony, (museum grate), library upstairs room . I'm obviously missing the same last one in both versions.
May I have a (strong) hint? None of the available playthroughs seem to help...
